I must have come at the wrong part of the day... I sat down for an MVP cut which I infer is supposed to be a cut, wash, hot towel, and massage gun to the shoulders. I don't actually know, because it wasn't explained, I just had time on my hands and needed a cut, figured why not. My first clue should have been the empty parking lot. Second clue should have been the "no wait list" but apparently I was more optimistic and gullible than my usual cynical self.Now I know better.Towel was hot... but that was pretty much the only part that met expectations. Pretty sure the massage gun either gave up it's ghost a couple years ago and they haven't yet noticed or the woman who didn't know how to cut my hair also had a hard time with the massage gun.And my cut and my hair is pretty straight forward. Trim the sides, even out the top. Straight blonde hair. It no longer lays the way it should -on parts that weren't supposed to lose any length, the parts of my head that a clipper were used on are uneven with patches sticking out twice as long as the rest.I was willing to pay more for the extra services, don't get me wrong, but now I will get to pay for the same haircut again because I need to go to another hair salon to get this cut fixed. I won't be back.Tldr: don't waste your time or money on a bad cut and experience - find a stylus elsewhere.****Update****The store manager reached out and was very apologetic. I gave her the opportunity to see the final cut and ultimately fix what is possible to fix. I am happy to report that it was a success.Jamie was courteous, could see immediately what was wrong, and wasted no time in addressing the issues she could without cutting off more than necessary. I still have a haircut that is not what I wanted, but it at least looks finished and clean now, and the rest will grow back.Giving back two stars for the excellent customer service, friendly return, and a passable fix.I still wouldn't let the first stylist cut my hair again, but Jamie's response and fix let me know I can return to this salon.

do not go here! they dont listen to you they messed up 2 haircuts a kids cut and an adult cut and way over charged 80$ for 2 hair cuts. down right disgusting

Do not go to get a hair cut here. I would give NO STAR rating. The old crew that use to cut hair was great-but the new stylists are awful!!! The one lady cut my sons hair lop-sided and refused to fix it. Another lady cut my husbands hair uneven he looked like he came off the set of the Last Mohican's with a partial mow hawk, it was suppose to be a drop fade. Unfortunately there seems to be no quality control, just filling the positions with a warm body to cut hair. We will NEVER return to Sports Clips in Moline Illinois again. Just a waste of money and time. This location should just end 2022 on a high note and close their doors, these ladies are in the wrong profession. Update- I received a reply from the owner to contact them yet was not provided a solution to the problem like a contact phone number. How can I follow up with no information.
