We dropped off our car with the promise of repair in a couple weeks and they finished it within one week! It looks amazing! They also worked with insurance and all we had to do was drop off the car and pick it up once it was done. All quotes were met or exceeded. If we ever need a body shop again we will definitely use Speed and Floyd!

Said the we’re going to replace bedside cause it was mangled, instead they pounded out the dents and filled with bondo, the whole bedside is caved in at least a inch after their “repair” , the bed no longer matches the cab on that side of the truck, absolutely the worst body shop in the quad cities by far!! They are absolute hacks!!!

My right mirror was replaced and it looked like they peeled the chip guard off the old one and stuck it on the new one. It’s lifting at the corners and just looks nasty, I brought it to their attention and they hopefully will put a new one on when I have to go back which leads me to the next issue. Upon entering the store to pick up my car, the man said “oh did Melissa call you” of which she did not and he then told me that I had to come back in 2 months and leave my car for a day possibly longer for the hood and fender chip guard to be put on. I WAS SHOCKED that my car was there for a week and they did not put the chip protectors on. Instead he told me that the paint takes TWO MONTHS to cure. Which sounds ridiculous because I know when I bought the car with it it was not sitting in a wear house for 2 months waiting for a chip guard ...... also now I have to worry about chips for the next 2 months ! I already missed work to pick up and drop off the first time and now to have to do it again is so frustrating. I then left and called 3 other body shops in the quad city area one was my uncle who is a mechanic and none of them make anyone wait any amount of time. They all said they would have put it on before I would have received the car. Very inconvenient as I live in Davenport and this is the only in network State Farm shop. I really wish I didn’t have to go back and miss more work in 2 months. This really blows.Service: Body & Trim
