The costumer service was appalling to say the least. Our car broke down during a 3 day roadtrip that turned into a 6 day trip because of a lack of competence, communication, and priority.
After having the car towed to the shop it took 4 days to even look at it to run a diagnostic check. During which it took over 3 hours to do, even after being told what the problem was. The wrong fuel was put in the car.
After flushing out the system they retested it at 4pm and found that the spark plugs were damaged as well. Which means during their "diagnostic check" they didn't check one of the few parts that could be damaged when that happens. It's like they just threw on an obd2 reader on and sat around for 4 hours and called it good before giving us a call.
They somehow DIDNT have sparkplugs that fit a new mazda at this particular MAZDA dealership, so they had to order them over night further extending our stay. There were several in stock that fit the car within a 1 mile radius on hand. They then charged an extra 360 dollars for 35 dollars worth of parts and an hour of labor.
The next morning we weren't called or contacted about the price confirmation so they could start their work. So we walked a mile from our hotel with all of our belongings to actually get in contact with them and wait for the car.
A reoccurring theme with our experience was a lack of communication. We were put on hold for 30+ minutes at a time and had to send messages through the Key Auto Mall for them to call back, which they didn't. After trying to get the job rushed we were rudely dismissed over the phone. After asking if we could speak with a higher up to explain our situation and possible discount options, our advisor(Amanda) sent us to the sales manager who then pretended to go and try and figure something out. We never heard back from him. We then managed to look up and find out who the service department manager was(Tom) and met with him separately and he thankfully managed to get 10% knocked off the final cost after talking down to us.
The only other helpful person there was a different advisor not assigned to us. She was kind and understanding and would help us get our stuff in and out of the car when plans unexpectedly changed. Give her a raise.
Dealership service at its worst.

I recently Purchased a new Mazda at key. The sales person I worked with, Brian Magee, went out of his way to secure the vehicle I wanted within the timeframe that I needed it. He was also very understanding And accommodating on the day of purchase. I would definitely recommend Brian and if you’re looking for a new vehicle.

Brought vehicle in to get fixed that I just purchased for 25k. I thought the issue was covered under a bumper to bumper warranty. I was told it was not and I was charged 170 for looking at it. I didn’t sign anything, and no prior notice that I would be billed this. I paid because I didn’t think I would get my keys back.

I discovered a Jeep Wrangler on their website and drove from Cedar Rapids to Moline, a journey of an hour and a half, to make the purchase. During the test drive, I noted three issues that needed attention: a tire sensor, heating concerns, and a missing trim cover on the back seatbelt. The sales manager assured me they would address these. With my own financing and warranty in place, the sale proceeded smoothly. However, upon returning for the promised service, I encountered several setbacks. Despite confirming the appointment and being promised a loaner car for the day, I was informed upon arrival that there was no loaner available. Additionally, I was told that the necessary equipment to fix the tire sensor issue was broken. Despite assurances that my Jeep would be collected for service, over a month passed without any action. After multiple follow-ups, the service was eventually completed, but the problems persisted. The tire sensors remained dysfunctional, the heating issue persisted, and the trim cover was still missing. Furthermore, I was left with an empty gas tank. Communication with the service manager and technician was frustrating, with promises made but not kept. Months later, I discovered additional issues with the vehicle, including a leak in the cooling system and potential engine problems, which were not addressed by Key Auto despite my earlier concerns. It became evident that the company does not fulfill its promises and often misdiagnoses or neglects repairs. In light of my experience, I strongly advise having any vehicle purchased from Key Auto thoroughly inspected by an independent mechanic. Their service department's reliability is questionable, and I cannot recommend them with confidence

We went yesterday just looking and ended up first vehicle we test drove we absolutely loved.... 2018 GMC Terrain Denali , it had the panoramic sunroof leather seats fully loaded absolutely gorgeous. Mike Thompson was amazing to work with very friendly and helpful with the whole process. There was no pressure at all and the whole buying experience was smooth and so happy with our purchase. Will definitely recommend him to all my family and friends!!! 10/10!! Thank you so much Mike Thompson for all your help !!

I am a Mazda fan , for many years now and this newest purchase of CX 5 2024 is my 3rd one. I love most everything about them . Mike Thompson and his supervisor were very helpful and accommodating. No pressure, very polite and I will recommend them any time . The only hiccup was with the finance department, buyer beware, read every line, that was later CORRECTED! Mike was there to make sure of that .
