I emailed my agent for a quote on car insurance for a new vehicle. It took them almost a week to respond and asked me about another vehicle on my policy. I sent the exact same email to an independent agent who responded within hours, and that is subsequently who I have ensuring my new vehicle when my policies expire I will be moving all accounts to this independent agent, there have been numerous emails updating status and upgrades. I've done to my home to my agent with no response.

Derek Newtons office has been nothing but nice and understanding. Allstate them selves have been pushing me around and not wanting to cover the damages to my home. They happened from a hail and wind storm that hit my area in early march. They have not done some of the things they said they did. Then gave us to other people that tell me the damage is not there. Noe when it rains heavy it rains in my bathroom and my son’s room. They will pay for the inside damages. But not the damage that has happened outside to the roof in the first place. I’m very upset!! Collen in Mr. Newtons office said damage is damage and could be covered. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ALLSTATE AT ALL!! I have house boat and car insurance. I now know it it’s time to find new insurance.

was a customer for 20 years when his Dad was my agent and 1 month after he retired his son took over and everything changed and I was gone to never come back again bye bye

Prices were 100.00 more than anyone else and the coverage wasn't as good I do not recommend.

Extremely disappointed with alstate and the employees of the office the last few years. The last straw was our premium rising another 87$ the only explanation given was, I was an gold member with good driver rewards, what rewards? 20 yrs I have been insured by alstate through this office, the last 4 yrs the customer service for both this office and corporate has tanked. Never receiving calls back after being told I would, even when trying to purchase insurance for a business. I am extremely excited to be saving 140$ a month. It is sickening how much money I've wasted trying to be a loyal customer!

I have had Allstate many years for my car insurance. Everytime my policy renews it goes up. This month I go to renew and it goes up AGAIN like $30/month. Everytime I email this dude he replies back days later saying "I will reach out to you tomorrow to discuss this" and then he never once has followed up. This is the third time he has not responded to my questions. So I called Progressive last week and switched. Allstate charges me $170 a month and for the SAME EXACT COVERAGE with Progressive is $86 a month! And Progressive replies to my emails. Learn some customer service DEREK . I'm in the process now of having all my friends switch. My coworker just switched yesterday after having Allstate for decades. Worst insurance agent ever. I don't know what happened in the last few years but this specific office is the worst now. Do not do it!

I have been with Derek and his dad for years. I have never had any problems with them. When the time would come I had to turn in something I never had any problems with making a claim. I deal with Colin all the time he's a good guy I really like him he has never lied to me about anything. If I call him and he doesn't know the answer he gets it for me in a timely manner. Everyone that works there are very kind and nice. Dan Boyle
