This Credit Union LOVES its members. Give them a shot, they like to get to know you as an individual and they work with you like a person and not a statistic. They have a culturally competent staff and they do a good job at getting you the services you need over the phone, online, and in person.

I'm very impressed with Ascentra, especially the app. I do most of my banking on it and have had no problems. The staff are incredibly helpful and listen to your needs. Great customer service!

I have had a savings account there at Scott Schools Credit Union for 25 years. Now it's called Ascentra. I decided to open a checking account there Aug. 1. 2023. They bounce checks when I have money in the account and courtesy pay. If your looking for a credit Union or bank, I suggest looking elsewhere. I wrote up the details and sent it into the Times and Dispatch. Look for the story there.

It took us some time, but that was either because the teller was busy with more urgent work or simply on my father and I for waiting until we were noticed, making it our fault. The teller who setup my twin accounts was polite and professional, and explained what was happening as best as I could grasp it at the moment. The only real problem I had was with the signature machine, but all signature machines are trash, so that's not anyone's fault. I got all the help I needed with setting up my accounts, which is all that really matters.

Most locations are friendly, but stay away from 53rd in Davenport thaw location will treat you like they have better things to do.

Wish I could give zero stars this bank is the most crooked I have ever been with. They treat u like u don't matter if u fall behind on payments, was 1 month late on car payment they took my car and now they say I owe them for car insurance even though I don't have the car. This place is a joke

My husband wanted to switch to Ascentra so we opened up an account. After about a year we’re thinking about switching back to our old bank. We are constantly having to get a verification code in order to purchase something with our debit cards, which honestly after a while it gets frustrating specially since my husband will be at work and I need the verification code for a purchase and he’s the only phone they call with the code. Ridiculous! I can’t even have it set up for them to call me too.Also, Ascentra doesn’t allow you to use your own debit card to purchase lottery tickets online. What is that?!Our previous bank out checks would be in our account by 4am, Ascentra is like at 6:30/7am.

I am strongly considering moving all of my banking needs to Ascentra because I get consistent and fair treatment every time a visit any location. Whether I'm in Iowa or Illinois, I get excellent service with a smile. Ascentra is truly a top credit union.

Every time time I fall behind on my payments and I try to talk to someone they talk to me like they are a loan shark. God for bid anyone fall behind with this company because they do not talk nice to you and treat you like how dare you be in money issues. I don't recommend this Credit Union to anyone I know. They start out like yes we want to help you then turn on you the min you have issues no matter what the issues are they are not there for you anymore

This is a horrible bank .they don't communicate with eachother and one person will tell you one thing while another days something else worse bank ever do not get a loan through them you will regret it

Charges me for atm fees my wife’s bank gives her atm fees back to her. I’m tired of all the fees about ready to change banks
