Very rude and even laughed at me with co workers about my cat, would not recommend at all, told me to put her in a cage or put her down since she’s having behavioral issues and peeing just trying to find a good home for her so she’s loved and taken care of

Great organization. I love and respect what they do. However, I found it difficult to adopt from here. I submitted an application, but never heard back. I called, and the woman said she would call me back sometime soon and that my application was approved. Never heard back. You’d think they’d want to find these animals homes, considering most of them have been here for years. I couldn’t think of a reason why they would behave this way. I’ve called a few times now, and I keep hearing the same runaround. I think I’ll adopt elsewhere.

My mom Melanie Hicks used to volunteer here. She loved it and Vickie is amazing. They truly care about animals.

Someone working there was acting very rude to us when we tried to get our dog and checked not even for a minute on their computer and said he wasn’t there. An hour later a other employee gave me signs through facebook that the dog was still there. I’m disappointed and hope no one else lives through this.

They take great care of their animals and don’t let just anyone adopt them! They really are animal angels!

My puppy I jus got caught parvo after a couple days of me having him. I was told to call the humane society and Vicky the director was very much rude. She proceeded to tell me I shouldn’t have gotten a puppy because I have kids and people need to be mindful of the responsibilities. I hung up because I was in disbelief. I then called back to let her know I would be reporting her she was on the phone screaming she was sorry because she knew she was wrong. They are there to help with animal aid not to be rude and nasty. I then called her today to voice my concerns and she laughted and hung up. I also feel I was discriminated against because she just. Helped a person not my color and with his dog with no problem. I had nasty things said to me while on the phone trying to get my puppy help I will be calling the city and I also have every recording from the phone call.

These are very friendly cats. Beautiful cats to love up! They appreciate you too!Look at Bree and Lily. And Robbie is a very loving black cat. Apollo is a wonderful long hair gray cat. Not too old either! Very affectionate. They can use some attention.

I visited the shelter and saw very well cared for and healthy looking cats and dogs. It was so touching how much the staff loves these beautiful creatures. It is obvious how hard they work to keep up with all of the responsibilities involved in caring for them. I'm hoping to be able to volunteer some of my time there.

Unprofessional.. Front desk lady is very rude .. Love the animals but I thought if you couldn’t take care of a pet , people will encourage you to give it to a shelter to find a good home but the front desk lady will question you on why your giving the animal up and she’ll give you an attitude about it .. She literally will get rude with you bc you decide you couldn’t afford to take care of the pet or that your trying to find a good home for the pet .. Sometimes people go through situations where they can’t take care of the animal but to be rude about it when there’s shelters for a reason is despicable to me..

I can't say enough good things about Animal Aid! The volunteers are so kind and knowledgeable. When you walk through the door you get a warm welcome from the cats. It's clear to see that the felines at Animal Aid are healthy and well socialized. We adopted a kitten from AA last year, and she is the best cat we've had the pleasure of owning. She's cute and playful, and a little bit spoiled. We love her to pieces.
