As a business rich in tradition and family we begin our fifth generation of leadership. We realize what has made us a strong brick and mortar business is our love of community and service for over 120 years. Our business was established by William Henry Whitmore in 1896. Mike and Mary Cripe along with two sons David and Michael expanded the company to four locations, Wilmington, Braidwood, Manteno and Manhattan. Michael and David have now added Mokena, New Lenox, and Coal City for a total of seven locations.
