Using this company was such a horrible experience, when I realized I forgot to write a review 7 months later, I decided I still wanted too.I’ll start by saying that the actual crew that did the physical moving was great. They were professional, quick, and polite. They did break the arm on one chair without telling us, and they scratched the floor a little in one place. But overall a good job. The management/office man and woman were awful.First, they gave me a pretty low quote, and I now realize they were under quoting me to get my business. Not a big deal. The problem came when they tried to drastically overcharge me during the actual moving.I want to be very clear that I understand how paying movers works. I understand that I am paying from when they leave the warehouse, and I am paying while they wait to start. But that doesn’t mean the final amount should be $800 more than the quote ($2400 is what I was asked if memory serves when the quote was $1600). When I questioned the mover about this, I found out they left their warehouse a full 2 hours before the move was supposed to start when they are maybe 45 minutes away. when I refused to pay such a high rate, he initially told me there was no one in the office to call. He then called and got someone right away. The woman I spoke with very quickly told me that the moving guy made a mistake and tried to offer me a lower price, but I wanted to know why it was so much higher. She tried to tell me they had to leave early because of snow. It had barely snowed that day, and she had previously told me they worked regardless of the weather. She then offered $2200 (still$1-200 too high) and I accepted because it was Friday night and I wanted to be done.THEN this lady had the audacity to call me first thing Monday morning and try and charge me the $2400 price because “we forgot to include travel.” I couldn’t believe it, that’s literally what we had argued over. She finally said to forget it and hung up.Also, part of the reason the price was higher was because when they moved us out of our old house, they brought too small of a truck. So they had to take everything out and reorganize it. They still didn’t fit everything, so they told us they’d bring the latter by in a couple days. 2 weeks went by before I sent an email asking why I didn’t have my ladder yet and they dropped it off.I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. After I got off the phone with the lady, the movers looked like this was a regular occurrence. They were utterly shocked when I still tipped them and were very thankful.

After meeting with Tom Calaghan, owner, and feeling he was honest and trustworthy, its been 3 months since our move and WOW WERE WE WRONG!The one thing that stood out is that Tom, when at our home, said, "we do not hire Chip and Nick", a play on words, stating that they hire responsible and trusting crews. WRONG.They sent a crew that complained the entire time they were at our house moving us. It was so bad, I had to leave the house because they made me so upset. We got to our new location and the crew they had at our destination was THE worst group of 3 men; I will say one guy was decent. One stayed in the truck the entire time and one barely worked. They ALL complained the entire time they were here once again; put boxes that were CLEARLY marked with their destination, in the wrong place time and time again. In our basement, they piled boxes and toys and crates and storage units IN ONE CORNER, to the point we could not even get NEAR any of it, until my husband saw it and yelled, STOP! He had to TELL them to put the boxes around the perimeter of the basement so we could actually GET to the boxes eventually!! As it was we were crawling over boxes to get to the ones in the corner!!! They also damaged our walls and brand new hand rail and when we pointed it out, they shrugged.I was told by the office manager, Jen, that we had up to NINE months after the move to make any claims for damages or losses. So after 3 months, we assessed everything we had gone through (I'm recovering from a broken ankle so it took me longer) and found we were missing a box with $400 worth of expensive pots and pans; they broke a storage cabinet where it is unusable; and the damages to our walls and handrail.Made the claim, per the office manager and WOWSA, we got the settlement letter today which I will include their reasons for denial!! I am just so shocked by their reasonings and misrepresentation that I just am laughing how ridiculous this is and how they get around be liable."In the absence of notations confirming anything went missing while in transit, we cannot assume anything went missing in the van line's care. We must respectfully decline liability for the items claimed to be missing. Whether a loss s confirmed or not, we do run a trace on the items, during our trace nothing was located."Ok, How could I confirm anything was missing "during transit" since I had over 100 boxes to go through when I got to my destination? How did they know WHAT would be missing and how did they run a trace and KNOW that nothing was located? How did they know that one of their crew didn't steal the box that was clearly labeled, Kitchen/Pots and Pans?Next one: "In order for our office to consider a claim for property damage, it must ben oted at the time of delivery, in the prescence of the delivery crew and on the delivery paperwork" WE TOLD THE DELIVERY CREW THEY DAMAGED OUR WALLS AND SHOWED THEM THE DAMAGE TO WHICH THEY SAID, YOU REPORT THAT TO THE OFFICE MANAGER, WHICH I DID BEFORE I PAID THEM!! The office manager said, YOU HAVE 9 MONTHS TO REPORT ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES.So, do yourself a favor STAY AWAY FROM TOM CALAHAN AND WHEATON VAN LINES/MOVING SERVICES. They LIE and STEAL. OH, AND HE WENT BANKRUPT ONCE BEFORE, HE TOLD US HIMSELF, SO NOW WE KNOW WHY!!STAY VERY VERY FAR AWAY FROM MOVING SERVICES!!!!

From sales, to in house coordination to the movers this was an easy move for us. They made what could be a painful experience to one that was painless. They were affordable, respectful of our property and I would highly recommend them for your next move and would use them again for any future move. The movers were the most hard-working people I've run into in a long time.

Movers were professional and moved my furniture items quickly and safely. Then as it turned out I needed additional last minute packing assistance - on day of move. The movers instantly started to help with the last minute packing assistance that I was suddenly in need of. They were in good spirits and worked well as a team.

Would definitely recommend I use them when I move to a few years ago. Great company affordable price, and the owner is a great person. Has a good operation.

Worst moving company I have ever used. They lost my paperwork, which delayed my delivery of my belongings for another week. The office staff is rude and doesn't return your phone calls. The owner Tom is very unprofessional, and when you ask for him to ask about your stuff, he yells at you instead of finding out why the delay is happening. Jennifer, the office manager, isn't very good at what she does and was the root cause of my stuff being a week late. Worst experience and definitely won't recommend this company to anyone, including my worst enemy.

Made an appointment for Tom to do an in home estimate. One hour after he failed to show up- another individual called to say he is running late. My thought is that if the owner cannot pick up his phone and call a customer ahead of a meeting to advise he is running an hour behind- how is he going to get my move completed? The answer is- he won't be doing my move. Based on other reviews-it looks like he did me a favor!

I don't know what I would have done if it wasen't for the service I received from Moving Services INC. Two times before the big move Tom had his men come and move my business equipment and large garage cabinets that store the things we were moving later. Then it took 2 days to move us into our new home. the men were wonderful. Great company great service!

For those wishing to understand whether to hire Wheaton World Wide Moving and in particular the subsidiary of MovingServices4U owned by Tom Callaghan, don't. I'm getting this out early in the review in case you do not want to read all of the full details. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND FIND A MOVING COMPANY ACTUALLY TRAINED IN MOVING BELONGINGS. In a nut shell the process looks like this:1. You have Tom Callaghan come and evaluate how much of your house you are planning to move2. After some negotiation, you come to a price you are happy with and sign on the dotted line3. You will then go through scheduling the move and have the final moving date moved on you without ANY communication4. You will never hear from Tom Callaghan or his group of "reliable" team members again even in the case of needing to speak to someone about a concern. If you are connected to a woman called Jenn, please hang up the phone and find another moving service as her ability to communicate is a severed skill5. Your items may be delivered, but don't expect them to be delivered in the same condition as you left them6. They will not send the right amount of people. One person per truck to unload is their model. Expect 4-5 hours per truck with one personAfter scoping a number of moving companies, we were presented with Wheaton World Wide Moving (operated by MovingServices4U) and as per the process, Tom Callaghan came to our house to review our belongings and give us an idea on what the moving experience and cost would be like. He came prepared with a folder of useless information and told us that he desperately wants to win our business as he is a local business struggling business. Pulling at our heart strings and noting that I wanted to get the move conducted within a certain price frame I made the incredibly now stupid decision of accepting his proposal and scheduled the move with him. He negated to divulge that the move wasn't formally operated by Wheaton World Wide moving, but instead is operated by his very shady own business of MovingServices4U. Once we had signed on the dotted line, that was the last time we heard from Tom even though there was countless calls, voicemails and emails that I had sent to him regarding the many concerns that we had. Not once, even to this day have we heard from Tom. The scheduling piece was incredibly unreliable. We were told one date, planned to move into our house on that date and was then told that the date that was promised is no longer something they can commit to. We moved into the house for one week with no furniture. Of course, that was inconvenient, but the issue that we didn't hear from them until the morning of the move threw us off. They told us they would be there by 2 PM ET. They arrived at 9 PM ET. Jenn who seems to be the office secretary was incompetent, rude and unable to even get scheduling correct. The one thing that her job description outlines and she couldn't get that right. When I called her, she couldn't give me a date and for a week we were fed lies and no one could own up to the mistake. She was and is hostile, rude and condescending. When matching her tone on the phone, I was called names and even told that they wouldn't deliver my items. If you have the delight of speaking with her, hang up and call back and hope for someone else. After being spoken to so rudely I was contacted by a customer care agent; Kay Anderson. Kay too began with listening to my concerns and even telling me that the contract with the committed move date was forged from Jenn. Kay emailed a copy of the original contract and this confirmed her accusation of the forgery. The team forged the move date due to their error in scheduling and wanted to cover their tracks. To make things worse after a move you are provided with a survey with the name of the coordinator you connected with. In this case ours was Jenn. Kay confirmed that Jenn had removed herself from being our coordinator knowing that I was going to provide a bad review of this company. Kay immediately put her

The moving experience was fantastic. The crew arrived on time and were extremely professional. They did a wonderful job. They placed floor protection down and equally protected our furniture. I was amazed how quick they could disassemble the furniture and reassemble it at the next property. I highly recommend using them for all your moving needs.

Sales rep, who we knew and lived in our town was very professional and friendly when estimating for our move. We also needed to store because our new home wasn't ready in time. All went pretty smooth packing and moving out as well as then storing. That is until the day of move into our new home. I understand things happen sometimes as far as nicks in walls, doors, etc., and while this did happen, my husband took the liberty to fix them himself instead of waiting. That was fine. But, even though they inventoried all our boxes and furniture to be moved to storage, which were several pages long, and not all clearly marked as to what was inside packed boxes, and..... after all of our unpacking, we noticed more than several items were missing. Bowls, plates, boxes of essentials, etc. I have called several times to speak to our our sales rep. Sales rep has never called back and office keeps making excuses why he is not responding. I was told the trucks were emptied and nothing was left either in storage or on truck(s). I was promised by the office more than a couple of times that they would email a missing items form for us to fill out. It has been 2 months since our move and that was never done to this day. I am tired of asking. Guess I have to live with the fact our items are gone. While I don't think the move in general was terrible, service after the fact is and it seems the company doesn't care.

Bad! Scam. Ripoff. I contacted Bills Moving Services with a quote of $580 for 2men/3 hours with $75 each additional hour. My move was a 2 br 2 bath condo to one about the same size less than 15 miles away. The 2 guys arrived on time and informed me that they were Moving Services that Bill sold his company to them and he was only the dispatcher. They quoted $145 an hour also a $145 hour travel fee $30 for each shrink wrap used. Mind you, none of this was mentioned prior. It took them 7 hours(one was clearly over 65) to move one bed one dresser, two sofas , two large screen TVs . One coffee table One tv stand 13 pre packed boxes, six plants to the tune of $1,196.25 . I was promised a refund of 71 dollars for the half hour not used 7.5 never received it. Please go with a reputable company like All My Sons or Two Men and a Truck. It’s worth it.

Fabulous experience from start to finish with my office move. The response time and administrative process was efficient and professional. Everything was explained clearly, and there were no surprises. The two-person crew, Cesar and Junior, were careful with the furniture, and wrapped things so no bangs or bruises happened. They were personable, flexible and right on time. All of this was done for a very reasonable cost. A+

I got a quote, which was fair. I had to pay extra, which was no problem because I had extra items. I also chose to get their added insurance? This is where the problems began. They basically wrecked 2 of my items. One was a small coffee table/end table. The other was my entertainment center which has a value of about $2000. They promised me they were going to fix this. Now it has not been fixed. It is October 15,2022 and my move was June 27th,2022. I keep getting the runaround about getting this item fixed, which I really want replace, but I would like to be able use what they damaged. I have about 20 emails. Back-and-forth each promising. They are going to remedy this. I paid extra for the insurance, and it absolutely did me no good. So I will not recommend this service until they do good on their commitment to fix or replace my item.Avoid this Company
