I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE GOING HERE! Reserved car for March 25th-29th online, get to this location and agent tells me no car available in that class but I can move to an upgrade for $20 more per day. I say that's not what I reserved and if I wanted that car for$20 more per day I would have reserved it. If my car I reserved online is not available why do I have to pay extra? Agent tells me even though my car that I reserved isn't available and the upgraded car is available she can't give me that one unless I pay the extra $80 because she would get fired and wouldn't be able to feed her three kids at home! Because I absolutely needed a car, I had no time to search for another, I got extorted out of another $80. HORRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER.

I called to ask if a Tesla was available to rent. They told me to go at a specific time because the vehicle still needs to be washed and should be ready by then. When I arrived at the time they set, they told me it wasn't available at all and that I should have called a week before to reserve. They even talked about giving me another vehicle, which was reserved for a different person, but then the other lady said it couldn't be done since it was for a corporate client. It made me wonder if they just gave up my reservation for someone else because I’m not a ‘corporate client.’ They are a bunch of liars and are very disorganized. This place needs to replace or retrain its employees and learn how to provide some kind of customer service, which they certainly lack.

November 30, I book online for lower class because my car is the shop. I arrived at Hertz and they stated they no longer have the car. I could pay extra for another vehicle. The Mary Ellis was rude, loud, condescending and abnoxious. She stated " just because you book online doesn't mean your going to get it! " They used bait and switch tatics. Please DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! I wish I would have read the reviewsI had to pay a uber cost and now I can not get to work. No stars. Also, its the Owners fault for running a shady business.He probably was the guy sitting right there in the officeTanyaI will go back to Enterprise

Don't waste your time with this location. They tell you that you get a car. Guess what? You don't get a car. Instead, they will try to give you a more expensive car. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

I booked a reservation on the Hertz app. When I came to the location to pick up my vehicle, Craig (the manager “trainee”) told me that there wasn’t anything available and he would have to upgrade me to a different vehicle which would cost $15 more per day. This didn’t make sense, I asked him why would it be more if I booked through the app, and he didn’t have a solid answer for me. He didn’t want to come to a solution to this situation, and just shrugged his shoulders the whole time. I went back to the app and realized that I could book a full sized vehicle for only a couple dollars more per day. I asked Craig if that was alright because it is cheaper for me this way. He said no, that he couldn’t guarantee the availability of the full size car even though it was right in the lot. He was refusing to help out so I gladly cancelled my reservation entirely. To no surprise, this location only has 2 stars for their reviews and I am sure Craig Krysowaty had a hand in that. DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE.

Dirty car. Not very helpful, didn't have much to say other than oh. Sorry about the inconvenience... Car was filthy and didn't have air pressure in one of the tires. Had to stop and pressure it up.

Worst rental service it’s like a spreading virus it’s in your way of searching for a rental vehicles imagine wasting 4 days of others because they are heavy on boted reviews and paid ads coming from not so paid actor worst company to even waste breath on instead of spending so much on advertising have available and clean workers half of them smell so bad I contact the rest through the phone number to save myself the disgust

Reserved a pickup truck for 12pm . Arrived at 12:02 - turns out office hours are until 12pm- no one in sight . Drove around buildings no pickup truck on site. No phone call. Called Hertz no pickups available within the Chicago area. - between both airports. Flew in yesterday - basically ruined our trip to drop our freshman at college.

I just read through a lot of these reviews and am quite surprised by them. I drive rideshare and have only had the best experience with this location. Each month we have to visit a hertz location, and for the past 4 months this is my preferred location. The other locations I visited were always horrible. ALWAYS! In Mokena, my wait was shorter and the customer service is excellent, especially Mariella. They explain everything, they're very helpful if there is a problem, and they are very professional. Maybe the bad experiences that took place at this location was before Mariella arrived cuz she's freaking awesome and it seems as if she runs that office all by herself. I recently went to a different rental company because they were cheaper and allows you to work different platforms. However, I think I will be returning to Hertz in Mokena because this other place doesn't even come close to being as good.

i wish I could give 0 stars. this place will overcharge you for everything. The worker over there named Mariela lit Lied yo us about multiple things and overcharged 140$ extra for things she added between the lines here and there. Definitely don't recommend this location.

My first time renting a car was a good experience. I ran into no problems and received a nice car, similar to what I'm used to. They are constantly busy it seems, so as long as you don't mind a little wait I recommend Hertz. They just need to hire some more people.

mariela i think is how you spell her name. very wonderful black woman who was nothing but polite and helped break everything down for the cost and walked me through cool features on the car i'd be in. i had to rent due to a hit and run i was in and because of my age the place my insurance does rentals with wouldn't let me rent anything bigger than a tiny chevy spark which wasn't suitable since i'm tall so i found this place and called. she was also the one to answer the phone and was super nice then too. i don't think i'd be back but god forbid i do for any reason i will definitely return here.

I called today to ask for car rental price and availability, it took long time for some to answer my call ,then he put me on hold 15 minutes. Finally someone answered the call to tell me the system is down then he told me im im very busy. Did not even offer to call me back. He was very unwelcoming me as a customer, he made feel like I’m asking for a favor. I do not recommend hertz for anyone.
