“I recently had my Volkswagen Tiguan in for a repair on my back bumper. Unfortunately when I was visiting my father in-law at his assisted living center I received some pretty nasty scratches on my bumper. Of course the person doing the damage left no information. I scheduled an appointment with Collision XS and they completed the work on time and within the price quoted. Bumper looks like new and they were really easy to work with as I paid out of pocket. I would highly recommend theme to anyone in need of repairs.”

However, Sunset Ford in Waterloo was able to get me in that Monday. The experience with the Waterloo location was made all the better because Lonnie is managing the service dept and her knowledge and efficiency in getting things done is beyond phenomenal! She is running a great team there and I will most definitely schedule all my future service appts with Lonnie and her team. She keeps it running like a well oiled machine! “Our vehicle was rear ended in late July. Steve Harter Autobody was referred to us, so I reached out and met with him shortly after the accident. Unfortunately the insurance company determined the damage was too expensive to repair and resulted in a total loss. Even though no repairs were made I want to thank Steve and his wife Kerrie for everything they did during the entire process. They were great to work with. Excellent communications and follow up. I recommend this business and even though I hope I do not need to, would definitely work with them again.”

“Very pleased with my experience here. My Chevy Silverado was hit by an errant driver. The other driver's insurance provider suggested this place due to its location being close to my residence. When I brought it in, Charlie's CARSTAR performed an estimate and communicated with the insurance company. They were professional, very easy to deal with and low pressure. I decided to let them complete the repairs and scheduled a time to bring the truck in. The repair took a couple days longer than they estimated, but that was due to them finding additional repairs to the steering system once they started taking everything apart. They communicated with me the entire time, letting me know it might be a couple days late due to having to order and install the additional parts. When I picked the truck up, the repairs were complete and I was pleasantly surprised to find the truck had been cleaned up inside and out. Truthfully, you wouldn't know the vehicle had been involved in an accident at all. It drives perfectly and looks great. I couldn't be happier with the service I received here. Well done CARSTAR!”

“Was subjected to a golf-ball sized hail storm during July 2023. Submitted photos to AllState - that's the only way to do it and the resulting estimate was very inaccurate. Charlie's was one of a few body shops that said that they would work with AllState. When dropping off the car, we pointed out some of the inaccuracies in the AllState estimate. Charlie's worked with AllState to generate a supplement claim with all of the problems with the inaccurate estimate. The original estimate (which included replacing the hood and windshield) was on the order of $5500; the final bill was on the order of $11500. The spouse ❤️ the car as returned. I wish we could give 6 ?. We've brought the second hail-damaged car to Charlie's.”
