We're new to the area and were looking for a veterinarian. When I called to make an appointment the staff informed me the doctor would have to review my dog's medical records before making the appointment. While talking to them I let them know his vaccination was due within the next couple weeks. I called our veterinarian and had the medical records sent to Milledgeville Veterinarian Clinic within 5 minutes. The following week I hadn't heard anything so I worried that maybe they didn't receive his records so I called to confirm. They had received them and told me I should hear back by the middle of next week. I didn't. I called again and they told me I'd hear back by the beginning of next week. I waited until 2:00 on Monday before calling again. His vaccine was due Thursday and I was concerned at this point I wasn't going to be able to get in anywhere in time. When I called I was put on hold while she went to check with the doctor, she came back and told me the doctor hadn't had time to look at his records yet, but they would call me before the end of the day. I reiterated that his vaccine was due in days now, at which point she told me they didn't have an opening for vaccinations until the end of June. I'd passed unhappy a looong time ago and told them I understood the doctor needing to review his records before seeing him, but I've never experienced anything like this before. Why couldn't we at least schedule an appointment? Hours later they finally called to tell me they couldn't take him because he has behavioral issues. This was a stressful and unpleasant experience for us. I would not recommend them. We called another veterinarian and even the interaction over the phone with the other facility was SO much better. I should've never kept calling Milledgeville. HORRIBLE experience!

Dr Chelsea is a great veterinarian. My cat was obviously sick. She did a thorough checkup, found an abscess, cleaned and drained it, and gave her an antibiotic & analgesic. Sabina did not try to scratch or bite. She was back to running around the next day.

We’ve taken all our cats & dogs to Milledgeville Vet, Dr. Meghan & Dr. Tracy are exceptional, kind, gentle & understanding when taking care of our pets but also listening to & understanding our concerns. We highly recommend them & their clinic for all pet care services.

When we were new to the area, I had tried two other veterinarians that I just didn’t have a good feeling about. I have an extremely small dog and needed to find someone with experience. It’s amazing to me what great care they give whether it’s a farm animal, or a tiny teacup dog All animals are treated like royalty here. We could not be happier that we found this vet clinic. I have also found their prices are extremely reasonable from any vet I’ve ever been to. It’s been so comforting finding someone we trust.
