“I asked my teen boy weeks ago if he needed to order flowers for homecoming and was told no. Then hours before he says "where do I go get flowers?" ? but I digress. I went to Milan Flower Shop on a hope and a prayer that they could help me (him). When I pulled up the sign said closed so I thought I would have to go to the grocery store to try my luck. Roger was leaving and saw me stopped and opened back up just for me! He made this absolutely gorgeous bouquet ? in mere minutes. I was so impressed and grateful! They truly saved the day and his date absolutely loved them ❤️ Thank you so much Roger!!!”
“I live out of town and contacted this florist for an arrangement for a funeral of a dear friend's father. The owner was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind and gentle with her words. She was so knowledgeable and explained different plants to me. She ended up making a beautiful arrangement for my friend's family. In this time of sorrow, she helped bring a smile to people's faces. You can tell she loves what she does and she is exactly the type of person that anyone would want to handle any plant/floral needs.”
“I suspect that if you're reading reviews, you mostly want to know about the flowers. Really quickly: the flowers were amazing. Everyone who saw them had something good to say.What I think really matters though, is how Hignight's treated me. You never really know what a company is like until something goes wrong. Well, something went wrong. I don't know if it was a computer glitch or human error, and it doesn't matter. What I do know is that they took charge of the problem before I even realized there was a problem, and everything turned out perfectly. I will absolutely use Hignight's in the future and have no reservations about recommending them to others.”

Trish was extremely helpful in picking out a plant for a funeral service and took her time helping us even though we stopped in shortly before closing. “My husband and I had a very negative experience with one of the butchers at the HyVee on Devils Glen in Bettendorf on July 2, 2023, so I had posted a negative review of their butcher counter on Yelp. Management from that HyVee store reached out to us the very next morning and apologized for what had happened. They did make things right with us and so I am changing my negative review to a very positive one. This HyVee location clearly does care about the quality of service they provide to their customers. “My daughter just got married and Cindy at Colman Florist did the flowers. We were planning the wedding from Alabama so that made it even more difficult. We FaceTimed with Cindy, text and phone calls before the wedding. We never met until the day of the wedding. Talk about finding the right person!!! Cindy did an unbelievable job with the flowers!!!! “My ɓrother needed a new floral arrangement for his wife, who passed away a couple of years ago. Last year, I reminded him of the Floral Connection. He had put fresh flowers before, and of course, they did not last and even got stolen or blew away a couple of times. He took my advice and got a beautiful arrangement in the selection he wanted.I must say it held up and still looked good, but it was time to replace it.I took the saddle he made back to Floral Connection as the anniversary of her passing is in a few plus. Memorial day is right around the corner.There might be less in price, but the gorgeous design, quality product/ materials, and well made from trustworthy source.Thank you, Floral Connection, in Milan by the bowling alley just off Rt 67.I can't wait to pick up the saddle display for our much loved one. This is the essence of reasonable quality!”
