I'll start by saying that the initial process of buying a vehicle here was decently smooth & quick. I'm rating one star because I'm a believer that the whole experience should be superb especially when buying an expensive vehicle. When I saw the truck I wanted, it looked fantastic all around. I was told that the detailer they normally send vehicles to before the buyer picks up was closed, and that they would do it at the dealership but it wouldn't be as thorough. So I let them do it thinking it's better than nothing. Looked fine when I left the dealership, but once I took it through a touchless wash, it revealed a ton of swirl marks and scratches, along with the plastic parts being burned from a buffer as a result of an inexperienced person who detailed the vehicle (which I believe was probably a porter). It was worse then when I saw it on the lot! Additionally, I had to power wash the undercarriage and chassis where chunks of dried up mud were falling off (I only drove it on paved streets, so the previous owner probably went off roading or was in construction). There was also some sort of dried gunk on the edge of all the windows that would not come off even with goof off/goo gone! Pictures shown. I contacted my sales rep to resolve the issue by letting me get my own detail and being compensated in some way, and it's like pulling teeth. I keep getting told they will ask about it and contact me, but I have to keep messaging them and not get a response back. The typical run around that most people also experience. If you're buying a vehicle for 50k and up, it's unacceptable to receive it in a condition like that. If their dealership is not equipped to detail, and the place nearby is closed, then they need to find another place with trained professionals no matter how far it is if they truly care about the customer experience and quality. People should not have to wait an indefinite amount of time for a third party shop to open back up just because it's convenient for them. You are the customer spending good money at their establishment. If you're buying a used vehicle from here, I would not recommend it based on the customer service after you sign the dotted line.

I still have not received the remaining portion of my warranty refund. I was promised a check from Dustin in the amount of $250 back in May. I was told it was mailed, I never got it, I reached out and he said he would contact me when another one was ready for me to pick up. I still am waiting. I have called and I have left message and sent emails. He simply is ignoring me now and I have yet to receive this refund. I am extremely disappointed with how long I have been dealing with this issue and the lack of follow through to a promise to resolve my issue especially from the VP Director of Operations.

Last week had oil change and was told about recall. Advisor said I had a bad shock absorber and had tot order part. Called Tuesday and said parts are in and scheduled for Saturday. Dropped car off Friday night and left key in drop box with an envelope with my name and number. Waited until 2 o'clock Saturday and tried 4 different times to find out the status. I even asked to talk to the Manager who apparently doesn't like talking to customers. Service advisor finally calls me and said no one even looked at it and didn't know it was there. I walked there and he couldn't find my key. About 20 minutes later I told him I dropped my key in the drop box in the envelope. He looked and sure enough it was there. What a clusterfuck of a place. They don't care about customer satisfaction. I have been going there 10 plus years and won't be back, it's a shame. They used to be good.

Bad experience from beginning. Brian Roberts was the salesman that assisted me if you want to call it that. Though I'm not sure if he knows how or is allowed to sell cars because every time there was a question or an issue he parroted "I'll have to ask my manager." The gas tank was almost empty and the staff did not want to fill the tank before selling me the car. Eventually, after an extended discussion, they very reluctantly filled the tank. I was told the car had been thoroughly cleaned, but after I received the vehicle, I found an assortment of garbage, including a 9mm magazine for a Glock pistol.

This one was a really funny one. I called about a vehicle I was interested in and was told it was being pulled up and cleaned and will be ready for me at the front I was called by at least three people and texted by two others. I got there and they didn't even have the vehicle it was ordered and wouldn't be there for weeks.

The customer service in the service department is very poor. It is very disheartening given that I purchased my car from this location. I have encountered this before, but chose not to file a formal complaint. However, after several times going there for service I see a trend. It is not a welcoming environment for many reasons. When asked for a print out of the summary of my service, I was told that the "printer was not working" . However, the representative had just handed me a printed receipt while being very dismissive of the follow up questions that I had about my vehicle. It is very infuriating. I have had much better service at Hawk Ford in Oak Lawn. Their service department is amazing and they take the time out to explain the work that they do on your vehicle. The only reason that I went to Bill Kay was due to appointment availability. (The poor service may have something to do with the wide availability that they have) I would much rather continue the service at Hawk Ford although it is a longer drive, it is worth it.

Very upset with this dealership:( I have purchased several vehicles here. This time I purchased a 2020 Ford Mustang- beautiful car! Found out after I purchased it there was a brake safety recall, ok I'll deal with it. They gave me a loaner for the week it sat at there dealership since they couldn't let me take it home since it's for safety. Stupid to me to even be selling it if customer can't take it home. So I waited a week and picked it up on Friday night- just went straight in the drivers side and left. Sat in the garage until later Saturday night when I had to run to the gas station- forgot my mask so ran to the passenger side to grab it. That's when I seen what was now scratches down to the metal on my brand new car. Remember it sat who knows where on there lot for a week. They were already closed Saturday night when I noticed it and Sunday too. So I called Monday morning and asked for service(I had been talking to them for the recall) PJ I believe said call back later and talk to my salesman- so I did and Juan said he was going to talk to the manager and see what they could do. Mind you I called the very next business day that I could since it happened on the weekend. I believe I called him back cause I want to get this repaired before winter and I didn't cause it- well they told me no that I have to do it myself. The finance manager when I bought the car said if anything he can ever do just let him know since it sat somewhere for a week while they waited for the part! But I was still told no and they won't fix it- I did not put these scratches on this car. They should take responsibility and fix the fu__in car! I have spent a lot of money over the years here and there doing me dirty like this. How damn shady! I will never buy a car or bring my car here for service even tho they are a mile away! There ignorance is not worth my time! Hope you all think twice before you consider this dealership since they definitely don't take care of there customers- would like to give no stars but not an option!

Let me tell you first that I LOVED my 2016 Platinum Explorer with especially with the modifications I did on it, but COVID has changed the landscape quite a bit with my job as I have inherited 3 more states so now I will be covering 14 states in the Midwest. My company will gladly pay for my flights but I travel with 3 - 4 huge samples bags plus my own personal baggage and trade show materials that it's easier for me to drive rather than navigating through an airport, shipping materials only to get lost, car rentals... well, it's easier to make a road trip and work my territory weeks at a time. With that said, I needed more room and wanted a more comfortable ride and thanks to Kevin Mello Fondren at Bill Kay Ford in Midlohthian, IL, he reached out to me about a week ago and he got me a deal that I couldn't walk away from for what I needed. I test drove the Tahoe and Yukon but fell in love with the Expedition with this trim. I have a few more payments again but my company compensates me with a monthly stipend for a vehicle plus gas so that helps a lot. Thanks again to Kevin for reaching out to me and listening and finding what I needed but mostly wanted and more importantly, making it work. If you are ever in need of a new or used Ford in the Chicago area, reach out to him please. Not only is he an outstanding salesperson, we found out that we have a ton in common and has become a friend.

I have bought three Ford Explorers in a row, from the time when they used to be called Domino. This last SUV has had thousands of dollars. I took it in to fix a recall problem, which they repaired, but when they did, they disconnected/screwed up the lighting, where the map lights do not turn on unless you turn on all the indoor car light. It really is screwed up. I took it back and they said they saw no problem. I decided to let it go, as it was not tragic, but still an annoyance. I took it back again, to fix the ABS system, $2800 later, they tell me to fix the lights would be about $700. Interesting, when they were the ones who broke them in the first place. I am just about due for a new car soon (mine is 10 years old) - will not buy there again.

I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased my car, although I love the car, the staff is unprofessional. I called them a couple of days later and told them there was a a couple of slight scratches, I spoke with Romario and he told me to bring on Monday between 9 and 930. I got there and the guy that does the paint is not there and I would have to leave the car. I was provided with a loaner, I came back the next day to pick up my car and it still had a scratch, the told me to bring it the following monday. I was told to speak to my dealer Romario and make the arrangements, Romario told me he would text or email me the time to bring my car. He never did, I called him and asked him why he didn't text me and he said he did (I didn't believe him because I didn't receive a text or email). In any event. He told me to bring the car in between 10 and 1030, he told me to talk to Mina. He was useless. He didn't even make an attempt to help me, I had to look for someone else to help me. All the dealers and managers spent most of their time, either smoking or on their phones. They are only interested in selling you a car, if you need anything after that, they don't want assist you with anything else.

Took my company vehicle in to have new brakes installed. The original brakes had just over 215,000 miles on them. They said that the rear brakes needed replaced but the front were still ok. After waiting for about 4 hours they told me they could not get it done before closing. I dropped the vehicle off the next morning and left 2 notes, 1 on the windshield and 1 on the steering wheel requesting that all brakes be replaced. They called about noon stating that it was done, I asked if they had done the front brakes also, they had not. I explained that I did not want to be replacing front brakes in 6 months or so. They did pull it back in and replaced the front brakes also. They did give me a little discount for having to wait so long on the first day.

On Saturday I made an offer on a Jeep Cherokee and, since I was located out of town, I offered to make a deposit until I could wire transfer funds the following Monday. The offer was accepted (I have written proof of their acceptance) and I forwarded all my information so they could prepare the paperwork. On Monday I contacted the dealership to finalize the paperwork. My salesman , Juan, responded that they had sold the car later in the day on Saturday. I told him I had already made a deal and the dealership had accepted my offer. His response was "we got more money for it" (I have written proof of this comment as well). Obviously the dealership and staff do not honor their word and lack integrity. I highly recommend you avoid them.
