I sadly had to stop coming here due to their dog always being there, I would feel extremely bad for her/him knowing it’s harmful for them to be inhaling all those chemicals and powder dust etc falling on the floor :( …. Just not for me to leave feeling that way

I definitely wouldn't recommend. I went in for a fill-in and a pedicure. At first a man began doing my application when an older woman with red hair came and started doing my nails. She came and sat down as he was about to file my nails into a square shape. She didn't finish filing and began to paint my nails. As she is painting my nails, she is getting lots of polish on my actual finger and my nails have WAY too much polish on them. so now my nails look very bulky. i ask her to clean up around my nails and to fix the shape and she catches an attitude and begins to take the polish off my nails. once she gets done she tells me i have to wait 2 hours for someone else since i didn't like it. i politely asked her how much my application was because i was leaving. Shitty ass service... what do i look like paying for something i don't like??

Well, to begin, when I walked in they told me to “sit down” like I was a child. Should’ve turned around and left. I asked the lady not to cut my cuticles but to cut the necessary hang nails. She did not. But she was randomly going to trim the same cuticles I asked her not to. She polished recklessly and the color is uneven and splotchy. Hang nails were polished so now a day later, they are threatening to come up and take the no chip polish with it. At the end she offered UNSOLICITED info about her observations. She said “your skin so dry”. I just looked at her and said “yea, I know”. Everyone can’t have supple skin like you lady. I should’ve said “and your nail skills are sub par”. She clearly needs to update her vision prescription bc she got me out here looking like a new person did my nails. Everyone experienced “the new person” before. She got a $4 tip which is waaay out of my norm. I’m tired of tipping my best for sub par service, unsolicited observations and opinions. I will NEVER return here.

IF YOU ARE GETTING NAILS DONE I repeat DO NOT go here. I spent $119 on my nails and feet the pedicure was fine but when it came to acrylics she only one layer and slapped on some polish it hasn’t been 2 weeks and two of my nails came off the first one came off no problem but the second one (NEED I remind you I just got them done) is painful to get off I will NEVER COME BACK

Went in for a pedi and manicure with gel polish on July 19, 2023. The older lady did my nails first then the pedicure. She did sloppy job on my nails and my cuticles looked alright not great. She then did a quick 15 minute pedicure and a day later my feet looked like it did not happen. My nails were not smooth and the polish looked bubbly. I was charged $91 when just three weeks before, I got the same service for $70. When I mentioned this, she seemed to get an attitude, saying that’s what gel nails cost. She was more concerned about a man that had come in 45 minutes after I did asking me was that my husband. One of the younger girls had done my feet and nails on my first visit and they looked great. On that day, I paid and said good-bye and they didn’t even respond. They older lady seems like she’s just making money. They are not the only rodeo in town. I never write a review but had to get this off my chest.

I went in around 5:30 they set up for my pedicure I got the everything included pedicure which was amazing. The clock turned 6:15 and it was time for my full set it started out well then once she placed the nails I showed her the ones that was not right she didn’t change it she said when she fill them they would be right once the filling was done they still wasn’t straight she applied polish and was done I paid and left because I didn’t want to argue with her I wouldn’t go back my nails are ugly and I have another appointment somewhere else because I rather pay again than to deal with the stress of going back to Star Nails.Side note my nails are lumpy and not straight!
