I was thinking of going to spend an anniversary with my wife, at this place, it looks nice but I saw not so many bad reviews, I think it would be better to look for another place to pay, for a service and not leave comfortable nooo and I give a star because I still I haven't been there but there are a lot of bad reviews

Was there the other night and guests next door played loud music all night. Complained to cowardly front desk person and he said there was nothing he could do so we checked out early. Complete waste of time and money. Still waiting for manager “Larry” to call us back. Never going back!!Noteworthy details: If you ok with being around ghetto guests and management not caring after they take your money then this is for you!!!

Unsatisfied customer, On March 1, my wife and I had an overnight stay at the Aura in Midlothian on South Cicero Avenue. We picked this location because we have been here before, but I must say this time around was a bad experience. We opted for the Luxe room as it was our 4th year anniversary. Starting off walking through the door, it smelled like marijuana. Then we opened the hot tube cover and there was a film over the water. The housekeeping stated that it was chemicals (they must have put a lot in there), but then she added more chemicals to get rid of the film. Make that make since. Next, the HOT TUBE was luke warm. We would have been better off getting a regular room, at least the tube water would have been hot. You would think I would be done right NOPE. Last but not least, I checked the sheets wherever we go, and yep, you guessed it, there were stains on the sheets. Needless to say, unless that get they stuff together, my wife and I will be canceling our membership and taking our business elsewhere. 0 stars for this stay

The change with the table was a bad idea can't put all my stuff that I used to be able to put on the bar table owner needs to rethink this. Let me give the owner a little advice if it's not broken don't fix it. Just wasting money.

I booked a room for February 14, 2024, and was told I had a room. When the day came, I was told that it was for February 15th, 2024, at 3:30 am, I pre-paid for the room, we needed to go work, and 15th the day getaway was ruined, for my lady. So I took a trip with her and got her to smile. I'm going to the Chicago location next for a getaway from the house on special occasions .Rooms: Fun, clean, beautiful.Food & drinks: Drinks sold, you can order food.Noteworthy details: Couple getaway plans

On Dec 5, 2023 I applied for the membership required by prestige club online. Funds were withdrawn from my account as soon as I finished the application. I received a text message from prestige club stating that they were on it and my application is being processed. Today is Dec 18th I haven’t received a decision on my application yet. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. At this point I just want my funds returned to my account

Room looks nice but nothing worked. Steam room didn't turn on. Hot tub was at a burning temperature of 107° & wouldn't turn down or off. Everything we chose the room for, was inoperable. Better off getting a regular room with a great view downtown. This experience was disappointing. Just an "im sorry" from staff. These amenities should be tested before renting the room out to assure u abide by what you advertise. Dont like both parties need to check in. Ppl come here to celebrate birthdays & anniversary; normally as a SUPRISE!! Our room was right at the entrance which means no parking. Had to park in the back side & walk To the room with our belongings. You could at least put a bag of ice in the fridge. Where is the prestige experience ?

Establishment is very clean, Loki and quiet, the staff is very courteous.2020 and 21. I and my lady visit all three establishments, Midlothian, Chicago, and Franklin Park, a total of six times each. Franklin Park attended by the name of Daryl, I believe, charismatic middle-aged guy lite spoken and very helpful, know me as a regular so we had a good business friendship. I have recommended many people to visit and promote their business over the years to co-workers and Friends alike who visited for the first time and thanked me for telling them One particular evening in September of October 21 myself and the lady that I have only visi5t that place with had one too many drinks had an couples quarrel, as the membership holder I was in fear of my safety, so I seek help from the attendant Daryl on staff that night we tried to resolve the issue in many ways with my guess nothing worked the only thing was to do was for me to call local law enforcements and I did ,they was nice they escorted me out of the premises to make sure that I was safe from my company and I think and I recommend the police department. not knowing until my next attmpt to visit that I was barred from the establishment they explain why because the police was called I as a customer requested for the police to be called to sure my safety and I still was barred from establishment when I tried to plead my case with the manager on duty she was rude didn't want to hear me and hung up on me I gave up but . why will I be banned when I needed assistance from the enforcement to sure my safety??Thanking you in advanceDr McCoyRooms: Very nice and modeling

I’m highly disappointed in the front desk, concierge. They were so rude over the phone. My birthday is tomorrow and I was really look to booking. I called because the website lets you review room and check availability. I called and spoke with the agent. When I inquired about booking she mentioned an application prior to. I said okay and started to ask about the membership cost because I didn’t see it online and that it allowed me to start the booking process. She interrupted me while I completing my sentence. I asked if I was able to book without the membership, she hangs up the phone. I called back. She answers with “Hold please”. I’ve waited and the. She ask did I need , I began to explain my birthday is tomorrow 9/29 and if there was the membership cost. She interrupts me again stating “It’s on the website did you read it?” And responded with “And I just said I didn’t see the membership cost, did you hear me?” I will take my $350 come where else. That lady was just rude. I don’t understand how when I’m about to spend my hard earned money. Smh I’m pissed

Always a good experience at Aura, great customer service from the staff, clean, comfy rooms, owner does a great job responding and addressing to customer complaints. Good to see a place that values, listens to and makes improvements based upon customer feedback.

They only allow online applications for membership now. So if you’re the type of person that has a hard time coming up with creative essay type answers to private questions, you’ll have your application denied like I did. Email explaining denial makes no sense. The staff here is great and the rooms are clean. Have been celebrating birthdays and anniversary’s here for years and now have to find somewhere else to celebrate special occasions.
