I am old enough to remember going through this crisis, but I learned so much about what went on behind the scenes. Both presenters felt like friends as they told their stories in a very interesting way. So informative! (As is usual for the Stevenson Center programs.)

I and members of my family have attended several presentations at the Stevenson Center. They are consistently of very high quality. Visit their website for recaps of many that have been given there.
The Adlai Stevenson Center on Democracy, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, plans and presents public meetings to investigate local and international issues to disseminate information and promote reform. It was founded in 2008 by former United States Senator and current Chairman Adlai E. Stevenson III and other civic leaders. The Stevenson Center strives to honor the legacy of former Governor of Illinois and two time Presidential candidate, Adlai E. Stevenson II.
