Internet is not dependable. They have no one on call. My internet was out for 4 days during Thanksgiving. Now it's New Years day and it's out again. For the money I pay they should have someone to call to fix it.

We had Dish network for years and was nothing but trouble. We switched to Telstar and love it! No more blackouts when it rains, dealing with some foreigner that could care less if they solved your problem, and no more cable boxes. Telstar is a local company that employ's local people that are very pleasant to deal with at a very fair price. Keep up the great work Telstar you and your employee's are awesome...

As we've only had this service for a few days this review is mainly concerning the install and customer service thus far. We've somehow magically dealt with the same salesperson, Bailey (sorry if that's spelled incorrectly) who was super nice and able to answer all of our questions and if not was able to refer us to someone or somewhere where we could. The entire process of setting everything up was extremely fast and easy. Our installers, Casey and Steven were also extremely professional, friendly, fast and were easily able to answer all of our last minute questions and were also able to give us advice about a future expansion to an outbuilding on our property.I cannot explain how completely different of an experience this is compared to our last internet company which was Frontier and I cannot speak badly enough about them but I won't here (even though I really want to). It's beyond refreshing to deal with a local company with excellent customer service and service people who aren't rude and don't yell at you in your own house.

Very poor service. They do the bare minimum with the money you give them, yet expect customers to pay the same amount as more reliable companies. Once I move to location with more options I can finally drop this horrid service provider.

Great internet speeds. But it goes down a lot, parts of th websites haven't been updates in 10+ years, and customer service never really answers any questions and just "submits tickets". If you don't really care about internet and are just old and can't work a computer anyway, go for it. If you need reliability and don't wanna wait 48 hours to have a questioned answered, good luck finding anything else out here in Mapleton. You charge more for your services because your competition is somehow worse. Please, at least have a good website and proper customer care.

I only had 1 month of service. Canceled it. Talked with office lady more than once. Asking to make arrangements to return their equipment. Nothing done. Now I receive a notice in mail from collection agency for $1086.39. Wth. Very poorly ran company. There was never a time set up to have equipment picked up. I still have the equipment. It does not belong to me. I would like for you to get it back.

not happy with losing internet way too often & spending too much time finding out why. If it's after hours you get an answering service that has no idea if there is an outage. This time, it's been 2 hours & I still have no idea if there is an outage somewhere because I cannot get a call back & no postings yet on their page! Very frustrating!

The internet is very slow and spotty at best! We had xfinity before we moved to Lake Camelot and they definitely overcharged but the internet speed and TV with on demand was ten times better at about the same price! I think it is very odd that the only choice out here is them or satellite almost like they have a monopoly on some areas!

As Telstar is making changes to their cable TV service they are providing new HD tuners. When they called for an appointment to change our the tuner, they said that I could either have a standard HD tuner or one with a DVR with NO PRICE DIFFERENCE for either box. When I received a statement of services it showed a monthly charge of $15 for the HD tuner with DVR. Since the tuner is supposed to be included in the Family Entertainment package I called to ask about this charge. I was told that the $15 was for the HD tuner with DVR. This is ridiculous since the HD tuner is included with the cable TV package and I was told that the HD tuner with DVR would be provided at no additional cost. Telstar has volunteered to replace the HD tuner with DVR with a standard HD tuner box, but honestly I feel cheated.

Using them only because I have to. They made the mistake of charging me instead of crediting my account after my service went down for a week. I asked for an additional $10 credit (trying not to be over zealous) which got denied. Can't wait to move!
