If you have social anxiety and prefer self checkout like I do, DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!I purposely go early in the morning around 7am to avoid people and get my shopping done in peace and quiet. I like using self checkout so I can avoid interacting with anyone early in the morning. They have a sign that reads "15 items or less" to use self checkout.I know this Jewel can get really busy during the day, so the item restriction doesn't seem unreasonable. My problem is when it's 7:30 am, there is no one using the 6 open registers and there is no one behind me and I get barked at by the tiny man running the bank of self check out registers that I have too many items and can't use them.I spend around $500-$700 a month at this Jewel and this little jackhole comes at me like a Chihuahua about too many items. I left my cart and said "see ya".I'll gladly spend my money at Walmart at 7am where it's cheaper, no limit on self checkout and only a hand full of people roaming around.Jewel either needs to change their self checkout cart limit for early morning shoppers when the store isn't busy or put employees in charge that can use critical thinking skills to assess that "it's not busy, go ahead".Maybe they'll avoid losing future customers like they did with me.

Horrible customer service prepaid for a chicken order get there to pick up my 5:00 pm order and at 5:30 the chicken still had not even been made! No store manager on duty the deli manager Pauline said oh I didn’t even know the cooker was behind on his orders! That at A PLUS management skills! Keep up the great work!

One of the best Jewel stores in the area. The produce section is always beautiful and well stocked. Customer service is always good and they get an extra star for the starbucks that rarely has a line.

This store has become a horrible place to shop. Lines are always LONG. So I waited and waited at the deli counter. Sometimes you need a ticket for chicken and Sometimes NOT BUT MORE NOT. So we waited and then they call numbers by deli and people that just walked up took a number and I got bumped back more and more. I'm not waiting at this store anymore. The last couple times the lines are long. So I leave my cart. I guess we wait because they know we will. We are the fools. Stop waiting people. Find somewhere better I have. I did ask yo speak with a manager and I was told go back by deli if I need her. What a JOKE. I hope this store fails.

I feel bad that one employee can ruin the rating of this location. I'm assuming she is a manager . She was wearing the black vest/jacket in the deli section has the worst attitude and super ignorant. First an elderly lady asked about the tickets(she though there were no more) and that employee yelled and said lift it up and you will see they fell. Ignorant incident number one. My family and I get cheap chicken Monday pretty much every Monday. Never once have they made me get a ticket, now all of a sudden she says tickets are needed we are short. Well then if the deli is that busy why don't you stop tagging and pulling apart boxes and help. I will no longer do my business with this jewel. I miss Dominicks. I miss the the nice people that work at the deli. This lady needs to go .

I was in the store today to report a problem that I had on Wednesday. I asked for a manager and got the manager trainee Jill. She was very rude and made me fill as if it was an inconvenience for her to discuss my concern with her. After I pointed out to her that it seemed as it was an inconvenience for her to speak to me, she told me that she didn't know what I was talking about and proceeded to walk a way and never finished the conversation. I am in Jewel at least 3-4 times a week however after my experience today I will have to rethink that. I spend a lot of money in Jewel, however I can go to another chain if this is the way customers will be treated there. And by the way Jill is a poor candidate for the position Manager in training. If this is your best, something is wrong.

I was practically attack by a man in line. he rammed by cart. call me all kind if names. I'm telling for a manager and not until he felt like it came over. and as I packed my bags I hear the cashier apologizing to the ignorant man.

The location at 3243 W 115th St, Merrionette Park, IL 60803 harasses & wrongfully accuses its patrons of shop lifting. see the liquor rep. Jill and her coworker to get hard-pressed. The manager did nothing of the sort to help and just walked away. Give your money to local non-chain grocery stores.

Sick of shopping at this store. I am not crazy about wearing masks to shop but thats the way it is. Do you think the fricking employees could actually wear theirs? Properly? The loud mouthed red haired supervisor is the biggest offender of them all. They are frequently out of stock on items that other stores seem to have. The meat is overpriced and average at best. The produce section is pretty good. The only reason I really shop here is because its convenient
