I love stopping here with my son to look at the fish just like my dad did with me =) The store is always clean and the staff is friendly. They don't always have the supplies I need for my cats but when I can purchase what I need from them I always will!

Update: April 2024They now charge you a fee for using a credit card. This is the new trend among restaurants but now it’s hitting retailers? Let’s get something straight: Credit cards bring in customers. It expands your customer base. It helps your business. I will not pay your surcharge. Until I hear that this policy is rescinded, I will no longer shop here.I remember when this place was on 95th and Kedzie. Love coming here. The atmosphere is awesome. The fish selection is huge. The birds are raucous and fun. The employees are generally nice.

I guess I'm fortunate to have them not super far from me, well actually its 27 minute's away, but don't judge me! I needed plants, and I have purchased many from here before, so why not? I was pmease trying surprised that they had a few extra plants I've never seen, but a little overpriced for plants I must add. I choose to get plants that wouldn't be a big deal I'd my fish ate. So altogether I spent around $47 and git a good amount of plants. They even threw in a few that they really don't sell, but since they have plenty of these, I was given some at a super low price. I do like that I was able to get variety and not break the bank. But before you leave, say hello to the parrots, they like that. You may find things here that you really don't find in other pet stores, so be prepared to spend!

I come here strictly for dog food and bones. They have a deal with my brand where every tenth bag is free. They cut out the proof of purchase and keep it on file. That’s great customer service.It’s also a great pet shop. They have a ton of fish and a lot of birds. It’s a relaxing atmosphere to hear the birds.Really like this store.

We frequent this place alot. This is like a zoo without the entry fee where you can take some of the animals home if you like. I buy my chicken food from here they have animal food for every animal you can think of. Love the staff they are always helpful. Great prices and quality food.
