This is the worst store I have ever visited. I have never been ripped off like this store. I sold an XBox one. First I deal with Riky who at first gives me a cash price of $49. Then after waiting there an hour He says oh I'm sorry I put the wrong unit in our system so now we can only give you $39 to which I agree to but instead if cash he gives me some type of debit card that he did not activate which I did not know wasn't activated when I tried to retrieve the money from an atm it refused to give me the money so I go back to the store to complain they give me a customer service number which I call and they say they can't help me and send me back to the store so Ricky calls his manager on his cell phone and the manager tells him to tell me to call customer service when I told him that I did that he says wait 30 minutes and try again at atm so I ask what if it doesn't work then does that mean I lose all the money all i get from Ricky is nodding . So gamestop can steal money and take your item with a defective card. Neither Ricky nor this manager named Cody would help I guess it's gamestop policy to steal and rip off from customers

This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever received at any establishment in my life! So I go to GameStop to buy a PS5 headset, the associate working there was named “Ramon” invited me into the store. I told him I needed a headset for online gaming. He suggested the $100 wireless headset by playstation. It was on the top shelf about 15 feet high so he went to get a hook to get it. When he took it down, it dropped all the way from the top shelf. He then started walking over to the counter to ring me up. At this point I instantly get skeptical about buying an electronic that dropped from such a height but I remained quiet because I didn't know how to tell him that I kinda didn’t want to buy it after that. He then started to ring me up and asked if i wanted to buy a warranty, I usually don’t buy a warranty so i declined it. But after i declined it, I asked him if he could please get the other headset off the shelf because he just dropped that one and I dont trust buying it without warranty. He told me “No, I wont get it because that one will probably drop too.” I then asked him could he please get it because I can’t trust something that was just dropped like that.” He then ignored me and began to ask the next customer in the store about what they wanted to buy. I was persistent to buy this headset and I asked him politely if he could please handle my situation because I am a paying customer and I’ve been a loyal GameStop customer for years. I then asked him if he could Please get the other headset from the shelf because the one he dropped could be broken inside, he then told me “No, I am not servicing you, go somewhere else!” I was then appalled, however I remained calm and respectful and told him that this is the only GameStop near me and he then said “I dont care, there is one in Hillside, I am not servicing you.” I then asked for the manager and he went on to say that he is the manager. So I asked for the customer service number and he gave it to me. So I called and they told me everything should be on camera from the incident. There was another customer in the store while this was going on. But for him to say how he was not servicing me, this may be a discrimination issue. Im never one to make complaints but this guy honestly doesn’t need to be in customer service. I will never be shopping at GameStop ever again and I will be posting this on all social media platforms about this horrible service that I received.

Went in to buy a disk version of Spiderman 2 as of gift. Once purchased, without opening the box, I noticed that the disk inside the box was loose and the disk was jumping around inside the box. I went back into the store to see if I can get another box as I was afraid the disk might be scratched up. The worker advised there was nothing he can do as “most of the boxes were like that anyways.” The employee did not want to even check to see if there was another box without a loose disk inside as he also stated “that’s why I recommend buying protection.” I left the store as the employee clearly did not want to exchange the gift. I opening the box (even though it’s a present) so I can place the disk back into its holder. I noticed there’s already multiple scratches on the disk already.

This place smells what I imagine a basement dwelling neckbeard man cave would smell like. Jesus Christ at least use some Febreze.

Called to ask if they had a copy of God of War Ragnarok. The lady asked me “well… for what system…” I said “PS5” (it’s only on PS5 ?) so she said “we do” kind of snarky like. She failed to mention they weren’t going to be open at 12 like they’re supposed to be, so I showed up at 12:25 and saw a sign on the door that said “be open at 1:00.” So I sat there like a chump until she came out at 1:00 to let a UPS guy in and told me they “weren’t opening any time soon”. Thanks for wasting me time instead of letting me know you weren’t going to be open on time, I’ll take my business to the Hillside GameStop from now on.
