Sometimes you get good service depending who the cashier is. I always smile and say "Hi! How are you?" And I don't get a response and get a nasty attitude. Sometimes they are great. Like I said depends who is taking care of you.

If I wanted to work for food 4less, I wouldn’t have went to school to obtain two post secondary degrees. I’m already tired from working 12 hours overnight. Why am I having to come in with a cart full of food and go to self checkout when there are 10s of people walking around doing nothing!!!

If I could pick 0 for customer service I will, these is ridiculous how these workers casher tellers speak to you, damn it we don't work there so you all get the sales prices and we don't, digital or coupon, what the hell l, to us it's all the same, signs every where buy 5 mix match and you go plto register and they want to get ignorant n have an attitude, nooooo that's not gonna work with me, I am going to cooperate and complain.
They need to show n train better customer service and if you don't like your job give it to someone who will

Prices are reasonable, for the most part. They do occasionally have PRICE LOCKS on certain popular products that beat out every competitor. Their food selection is awesome, but their "home" and "health" aisles are frankly pathetic.
Inventory very often cannot keep up with demand, so EVERY time the eggs go on sale, within 2 hours of the sale starting they are SOLD OUT for the entire week. It's insane that - somehow - their 250 cartons of eggs vanishes that quickly. And if they restock mid-sale, those eggs vanish within 30 mins of the restock.
Atmosphere and aesthetics are somewhere between Sam's Club and Walmart, without the guilt of knowing overseas indentured slaves worked to produce the products.
Food4Less recently remade their mobile app and website. It used to be a simple 2-3 clicks/taps to find the coupons, weekly ad, and mark what you'd like to shop for. No longer. Now the website is 5-10 clicks and 2-3 refreshes to load anything, with pop-ups and promos obscuring everything. The app is a disaster, hiding all the essential things behind "CARDS" which make zero sense and do not apply to anyone.
In short, I used to be able to logon, browse, and make a list in 5-10 mins. Now I spend over half an hour trying to view and sort what I'm looking for. Kroger needs to fire their media team and make it simple again.
Parking is abundant. Checkouts are self-bag. Employees are nearly impossible to find outside of the bakery or checkouts.

Closing time is 11:00 PM. This is the only store that uses their own time. It’s understandable that it’s announced every fifteen minutes to closing time, but don’t push it ten minutes earlier, just to get rid of the customers, and lie about it, and fight with the customer, with embarrassment. Hopefully Corporate does something,, and talks to the so called manager, that she claims at night, with some reprimanding on store policies.

It's a good store if you don't mind bagging your own stuff.

Very unprofessional discriminate towards immigrants. I was shopping with my husband who happens to be an immigrant he doesn’t have a state I.D. wish we are working on getting. I’m a United States citizen. I’m a college graduate. I pay my taxes and for this store to treat me and my family like we don’t have the right to buy what we want and what we work for this is so unprofessional. It was probably just that employee or the store in general I don’t know who to blame anymore because you should hire people that treat your customer’s right. So this is the what happened, I was in line to pay our merchandise I had some liquor so I know we have to show I.D in order to buy liquor so I did, but then she looks at my husband and says you both have to show me and ID. I was like why if I’m the one who is purchasing the items. She said if you guys are here together I have to ask for both of your IDs. I was like ok so my husband show her his ID but it’s from another country so the only thing she has to see is the age limit and if the ID is up to date, but no she said we don’t accept that type of ID so you can’t by any liquor I was like we are both old enough my husband is 30 and I’m 28yrs old, our children were with us. So I felt so hopeless and I will never go back to that store again. She said it was the new STATE LAW… which I haven’t heard of. I will take this to the news and the newspaper if this isn’t taking care of.
