“As a family, we’ve purchased two washing machines, one dryer, two refrigerators and a freezer from here over the last 12 years or so. The newest washing machine happened just four days ago, a nice LG model that came highly rated and minus one small dent in the back, looks and works perfectly as of now. We saved somewhere around $350 off the lowest “new” price in other places and $125 off the lowest sale price I saw over the last 6 months. Our oldest purchase is the dryer that we have now had for that 12 year period. Granted, we take very good care of it due to lessons learned in proper maintenance but it’s still working very well with no complaints. If you don’t mind the small cosmetic issues, I would recommend checking them out. They close at 6pm most days so just plan accordingly.”

“I’ve been a contractor with the J.S. team for about 10 years now. My most common J.S. Location was the Chicago Elston location and currently the Knox location. That being said, it’s pretty rare to come across guys who know how to run the counter and get you in/out in a quick, efficient, yet personable manner. You really don’t get how rare that is (I’ve had accounts at just about every HVAC supply house in the city and surrounding burbs). The ones who noticeably go the extra mile and ultimately are the reason why I stay committed to J.S.
Even though my primary location is Knox Ave, there are often times where I choose to specifically visit the Melrose Park location solely because of Nick. I met Nick many years ago and he has consistently stayed on top of everything. From answering my calls, to making quotes for me, to creating orders/ deliveries, etc. The whole 9 yards. I could go on and on, but Nick might ask me to marry him if I continue.
Any loyal customer/ contractor knows that quality of service matters (as us contractors should know). Nick is exactly one of those guys. So much so, that’s its worth the extra few mile drive to know you aren’t going to run into any issues whatsoever. My remarks about Nick are also valid for a handful of staff that I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years. Here are “MY PEEPS” that what the represent what I’m sure the Johnstone Team is striving to achieve across the board. Just wanted to finally post this review and give some recognition where it’s due.
