Gas there was 30 cents less than 10 miles away. Bathroom was clean. Food was so-so.

I am an independent contractor. I have completed many contracts at this location over the last two years. From Dippin Dots cooler maintenance, Tabacco/ Alcohol Audits, General Merchandise services, to parking lot/ Sidewalk/ Pump area surveys it never matters what companies I am completing services for or who is on staff at anytime, they are always welcoming and eager to help. It can be hard to complete services in my field at times. Depending on the employee, how their day has been, and how tired they are depends on whether they want to help you or listen to you, explain why you are there, or sign off when you're done. Unless the wait times are extremely long, I always like to let the staff, management if available, know I am there and hand them any paperwork or show credentials prior to starting the service. Especially when you're about to walk around the outside of the location, snapping 100 pictures of every fault you can see, managers love that, lol. This location is always friendly, clean, and very welcoming. Even when I show up towards the end of their shift and can see how tired they are, ready to run home for the day!

We always get good large deli sandwiches here at a cheaper amount then name brand restaurants. Godfather pizza had thicker crust, tasty sauce, cheese and pepperoni at a good value along with their cheesy bread sticks. Good inflationary value here, plus gas.

These are great places to Stop. Mcleansboro Hicks has the cheapest fuel around. Staff very polite and helpful at all the Hucks I have been to.
