1st visit, scheduled eye exam same day, nice selection of frames. So far so good, 2 weeks or less for glasses, fit & finish will be the true test!

Besides one hiccup with an overzealous employer, this branch is the best so far. The doctor is always super sweet and remember the smallest of details. The supervisor has been helpful and attentive. I cannot complain.

The eye doctor and the older lady who did my exams were very nice and helpful. The "sales" lady that was finalizing my perscription was VERY rude. As soon as I told her I wasnt going to get the contacts they recommended (Almost $600) she started arguing with me that I wasnt going to find them cheaper and blah blah. (Found them for way cheaper btw) I left without buying anything. I called this morning to ask a question on my perscription and she replied with one answer and immediately hung up on me. Terrible customer service.

Visionworks staff took good care of me. They fit me in the schedule the same day, without a prior appointment. The service was fast and thorough. The Dr. Was great, she answered all my questions and explained my results very well! I would definitely go back and highly recommend them!!

This was my first experience with Vision Works and I will say everyone from the Opticians to the Doctor could not have been nicer. The entire staff were very respectful and helpful answering all of my questions. Dr. Corrigan is truly a compassionate professional at what she does. You won't find a better Doctor in the medical field when it comes to eye care.

The mchenry store went over and beyond Chris. Supervisor is fantastic along with her staff. I had an incident at the Crystal Lake visionworks in where my prescription was incorrect when I came in with my glasses and told the manager and staff they told me I’ll get used to it they’re probably just new vision after two weeks of still having headaches and came in again I had called ahead of time and got a free exam from my lovely Doctor of over 20 years there found that indeed they were grinding incorrectly so they sent my glasses out when they came back they were in a plum frame I was told Azier was discontinued and I had to settle with a plumb frame so the plumb frame was nice. I was disappointed that I got wrong color from what I ordered because I had to send them out to fix an incorrect prescription , I decided to take it on myself and call mchenry visionworks and here I discovered they had them they’re not discontinued and they told me to come in and we can take care of you. They were able to get me and is your told me to keep my plum frame and pay a $50 to have the second frames to have two glasses. I’m very disappointed in Crystal Lake for telling me that my eye exam with something to get used to effect it was incorrect and I’m disappointed about that they didn’t even try to find the color in the two times I went back to Crystal Lake I seen disgruntled customers complaining and being very upset about glasses or contacts. The eye doctor also told me she’s noticed some high disgruntled customers in all her years there this all has happened the last year I wanted to take the time to send you a note that Mchenry went over and beyond Chris is a great manager there and her staff is terrific. I appreciate all they did for me. I will never go to Crystal Lake location again. Sincerely, Margaret Vitale.

Think we figured out today I have been going to this particular Visionworks for 6 or 7 years and there is a reason I keep going back . Their friendly and professional service ! Big fan of Chris up in the front of the store and of the Doctor as well . Good natured , friendly and always looking to get you the best price ...great assortment of frames too ! Also dealt with Michelle today and was very pleased with her customer service . Chris has taken care of me for many years now and she is one of the main reasons I go back . Kudos to the whole team !

I was assisted by Michelle and Chris when picking out frames and they were so helpful and really went above and beyond. They were SO friendly and happy to help! I went in for 2 pairs but they were able to apply discounts to give me the best bang for my buck and I ended up walking about with 5 pairs that I love!! Michelle also adjusted my frames perfectly. I could not have had a better experience!

STORE DOESNT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR EMPLOYEE MISTAKES!!! Michelle is not very knowledgeable when it comes to adjusting frames. She bent mine way out of shape, admits she's not very knowledgeable at it and then told me she was no longer comfortable handling them and to have an employee named Chris look at them to make final adjustments. Chris "greets" me very rudely by immediately telling me that I bent them to those extremes, that Michelle hardly touched them and they are not liable for my now misshaped frames. Chris handled them a little; Took a pair of pliers to to bend them just enough not to fall off and look mostly straight when sitting on my face. She gives them back to me saying there's nothing else they can do. I didn't press the issue further and left as Chris made it very clear she nor Michelle have any intentions on resolving the issue and do not claim any responsibility for Michelle's mistake. I'm now out a pair of very expensive glasses. The gentleman that works there is about the only good thing going for this place.

Wonderful experience working with Chris. She was incredibly helpful and informative. It was a pleasure working with Visionworks in Mchenry for my eye sight needs and I would recommend them to anyone.
