Steph and her team are always on top of it and Steph's experience and knowledge shows immensely when it comes to handling her business. We are very satisfied with this company and would recommend them for anyone looking for a competent bookkeeper who is responsive and genuinely hard working. We have been using Steph's Bookkeeping for 5+ years now. The monthly and quarterly reports are always on time and accurate. This makes easy work for the accountant to close out the year. As a small business owner, the service provided by Steph and her team is beyond helpful. It allows me to focus on the day-to-day operations knowing that the accounting is being managed by a professional. It's one less thing that I have to do at the end of the month. If you're a small business owner, then you understand the value of that time savings.Any questions I have had over the years are answered in a reasonable amount of time & in a professional manner. I run a small health care practice in a rural area of East Central Illinois for nearly 25 years. In the last 5 years, I’ve outsourced book-keeping— “leaving it to the professionals” instead of continuing to do work that I’m not good at (also another layer of work as both a physician and business owner). Steph’s has been the best solution yet! She was able to dive right in and eventually assigned my account to Melanie. I continue to do payroll and my local CPA continues to do the taxes.The ongoing book work was a hole that has been filled to my satisfaction. Steph’s team is professional, polite and prompt despite my occasional delays in communication.. I plan to be a long-term client and grateful for this service.

In the middle of an important business meeting where the financials of my business were being reviewed, I found out that the balance sheets were not matching the bank account. This not only created understandable worry for those involved, but was also embarrassing for me. I reached out to Steph's Bookkeeping Service and in less than 24 hours of my initial call, she had audited and corrected 10 months of business financials and produced a report for me to submit. She also completed this work on a weekend. All I have to say is WOW! I wish I had found Steph's Bookkeeping service sooner. Highly recommend!
