it sounds like you people suck over there my friend bought dog there and you gave them nothing but BAD BAD service DR. CARLSON you should be ashamed of your self and you call your self a VET people beware of this place if you love your PETS my friends dog is in bad shape because they kept giving them the runarounds' and lying to them for years if you have to take your pet to a vet go to Richmound vet in Richmond riverside you should close the doors and lock them for good find some thing else to do like shoveling S###

Wonderful! Dr Carlson and staff are empathetic, patient, knowledgeable, and take their time with you. Don't think twice about seeing them, just do it. You won't be disappointed which their holistic approach w modern up to date medicine.

Both of my dogs have been patients of Dr. Carlson since I got them and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Dr. Carlson and his entire staff (especially Carrie and Kathy) are amazing. They are always friendly and beyond helpful.When my dog had an ACL injury, Dr. Carlson helped us with a holistic/natural approach to avoid surgery. With his methods and guidance, my dog is recovering beautifully. If I have questions, I know I can call and get the answers. The holistic route is not everyone's preferred method, but it was and is exactly what I am looking for and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Carlson and his team.

Attempted to get an appointment with them as a new patient. Asked for next day and was told they don't want new patients unless they are referred by a current patient. RUDE!!!!

I was Sickened when i heard from a friend that they do declawing here. Laser or not it’s still a horrible practice to do on an animal! Glad i found out before going or recommending friends n family! You have a video even posted on your website. Corporate vets have even stopped this practice! This is not holistic!

terrible customer service , called for an injury for my dog and no help at all. The girl on the phone was rude and offered no help. How does a vet have a website online and offer services but then you call and they tell you no sorry we aren't accepting anymore patients. Terrible service.

Dr Carlson has a very peaceful and caring demeanor. You can tell he also really cares about the health and wellness of animals. The vet tech was very nice also! Would recommend!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HEREPLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE PAIN AND MONEY.I had a horrible experience with staff and the doctor. The staff has absolutely no idea what is going on and the doctor admitted that he had “no idea” about my pleads and begs for help resolving some issues. Two and a half weeks after multiple emails and calls he finally gets ahold of me and has the audacity to tell me he “doesn’t know” what’s going on because his staff didn’t tell him? Even though in the email it is very clear he sees where his staff dropped the ball? You’re calling an angry customer and have zero clue whats going on? How is that possible?I paid $600 for this establishment to have 6 staff members including the doctor consistently say “I DONT KNOW”, I was charged wrong and had to fight the doctor tooth and nail to fix their mistake even though I have every single error documented in email, ZERO accountability without me having to put up a fuss and terrible customer service and a doctor who is happy to blame his staff for his problems but never once apologized for the hell he put us through in a rough period for my three animals. Why on earth would anyone bring there animals to an establishment that when I ask “What are these two items I’m buying that my dog will be ingesting?” and no one…. not a single person knows what it is? Why have techs and staff there if they don’t even know what they are selling?Not once did the doctor apologize, not once did he offer a solution to the mess they created, not once did the doctor show compassion towards the financial burden they put on me for charging my wrong or not helping my animals. He actually told me He doesn’t want me coming back.I’ve called numerous vet tech friends to make sure I am not in the wrong here before I stand up for myself and they are BAFFLED by this level of incompetence.

There is truly no higher standard for veterinarian practice than Riverside Animal Clinic! We have brought our two dogs for vaccines/standard appointments to keep UTD and emergency appointments with incredible experiences every time. Dr Carlson is professional, succinct and patient in answering questions. The vet tech Carrie (spelling?) is a sweetheart and really takes time out of her day to make you and your pets feel seen and cared for. Not to mention the fantastic reception and whoever it is that answers texts on evenings and weekends; the staff are top notch! We are so thankful to be clients here and will continue to refer family and friends. Thank you for all you do for Ryder and Sky!!

Dr. Carlson is an amazingly caring doctor who seeks to offer balanced care in both the traditional realms and the holistic realms of healing. He also understands that not all people want to spend $1000 on testing before getting a diagnosis and a treatment path. I appreciated that recently when my dog collapsed and had a major health episode. He discussed many routes of testing and treatment and reassured me in my decision while still showing respect for my decision with regards to my dog. Don’t ever retire Dr. Carlson, I don’t know what I will do without you! Thank you for staying true to yourself.

We have taken our dogs to Riverside for many years, along with my in-laws. We had two Boston terriers that Dr Carlson and team helped us take care of until they crossed the rainbow. Last April we welcomed two french bulldog girls into our family. Riverside has been taking great care of our girls. One recently had a hive outbreak and they were able to squeeze us in same day and my baby was feeling better that night!

Great visit as always, brought my dog in for a specific tail issue and was given answers and a holistic approach for treatment. I trust Dr. Carlson’s treatment plans, he gives both holistic and western medicine approach and you make the decision. Answers all my questions and I leave feeling confident.

Very unprofessional stuff.Never reply on your email.My dog has some bacteria and med didn't help.I was sending email for weeks about my concern and never got back from doctor.Would not recommended
