Why do you call yoursell a pet hospital? If i bring my pet to a pet hospital, it's typically an emergency. If you are open but cant service "pets" because we dont have an appointment, and there is no Dr in until 2pm? Why are you open? Please change your name, you DO NOT deserve to call yourself a hospital, when you turn away patients because you dont have a dr?

Please don’t go there. They are ripping people off. We got a puppy told us there is a set of vaccines. Ok dog got 2 set and they said next time you come in you need rabies, and they give him an another vaccine that we didn’t ask for. Each visit cost about $160.
NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We had to make the painful decision to euthanize our beloved cat Buddy, a part of our family for 16 years on 8/24/2024. The staff at McHenry Pet Hospital were all great! They made it as comfortable as possible for Buddy and our family. Explained how the process would work, assured us that Buddy would go peacefully and feel no pain. Reassured us that we were making the right decision. Told us to take as much time as we needed with Buddy to say our final goodbyes. That definitely helped, given the situation of having to let Buddy go.? Thank you to the staff that was there that day from the bottom of our ❤️. We recommend anyone who has to have any kind of care for their pet, to take them to McHenry Pet Hospital.

The Dr was nice but the lady at the desk, her name is Nichole is very disrespectful and SHADY! Charged me different prices for medication 3 times I went there. After the third time, I called back to clarify why I was charged more than what she initially told me while I was there 30 minutes prior and she literally told me to take my dog somewhere else and hung up on me. You lost more than one customer, but all my family and friends who come to this place. I will make sure to make s police report and contact BBB

DO NOT GO HERE they only have a high rating because they take out reviews that hurt the buissness but people need to see this place for what it is. Our dog ended up dying from medication that was percsribed to him by the vet even tho he was too small, they gave him seizures and other twitching with his eyes. It was god aweful. We tried to save his life but the vet told us on the phone “well we close at 2pm and that would require overnight care soooooo” so they bascailly just said screw our dog let it die. They DO NOT GIVE A DAMN about your animal they only do it for money they don’t care about the well being of animals. And before we said anything the docter just had to say “couldn’t have been the medicine it’s probably something else. I’ve never seen people so careless and it’s sad because this review will get deleted or moved by the people in charge of reviews BUT PLEASE FIND SOEMEHERE ELSE DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT DEAD ANIMALS.

Long story short brought puppy in . He was prescribed medicine . Puppy had an allergic reaction was refused care. I would like to thank this establishment for the pain and grief we have suffered and thank them for knowledge and compassion they have shown . Great job

Always nice and helpful. My first dog had severe anxiety, they treated him so good so he would feel better. When he passed, got a sympathy card. Second, no anxiety and is fine going to the back for his shots.

We absolutely love this vet clinic. The staff, including the veterinarians, are so nice, helpful, and take the time to explain things.
We bring both of our dogs here and they're so good about reminding us about visits, vaccinations, etc. that might be due. They take care of our boys so well. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy vet clinic

I wish I caught his name, but the young male doctor is wonderful. My dog usually doesn’t care for males but my dog doesn’t mind him at all. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes. Staff runs on time time and is efficient. The vet tech is also very patient and kind. You can tell the staff enjoys what they do! Highly suggest this place for your pets needs!

We recently visited McHenry pet Hospital with our two cats, and had a very positive experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and treated our fur babies with great care and kindness. They took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly, and provided effective treatment that healed my pet. We were extremely pleased with the level of service and attentiveness we received. I highly recommend McHenry pet Hospital to any pet owner, seeking compassionate and professional, veterinary care.

My family and I, absolutely love Dr. Green. She is enthusiastic, helpful and there for your pet. Dr. Green has been nothing but a blessing with our 3 year old golden retriever. She looks for the best interest in the family along with the dog.She has even brought out the textbooks to ensure we were giving and doing all we could for our sweet girl.She is always available for advice and or just a quick question. She loves follow up updates from what we endured with our girly. Truly can’t say enough great and positive things about Dr. Green.Dr. Green really goes above and beyond. We thank her for her hard work, dedication & never giving up on a families decision making.

I don’t know what happened with that place but the people who were just hired there are super disrespectful. Dr Green is the best and she was always super helpful. I don’t know the girl who answered the phone today but she should work on her communication skills. I will never recommend that place to anyone. Start respecting your clients! Dr. Green was always so understanding about the financial aspect and always was helping out. My last bill was super high. Stay away from that place
