Absolutely horrible experience here. Would not recommend. Constantly late. Very rude constantly. Rescheduled constantly. Has such a bad, sassy, unprofessional attitude. Will definitely regret going here.

Perfect! Very accommodating and professional! Cleanliness can is important and I rate the very high on that fact! Plus my hair stylist, was knowledgeable and perfect cut and color be for me.

Krista is the best stylist I’ve ever had! My extensions are so beautiful and look so natural. Krista takes her time to make sure everything is perfect, I can’t thank her enough!

I had my hair cut earlier at a different location and they butchered it pretty bad. I came here to get it fixed and Amanda did GREAT! She was very kind and understanding. I seriously didn’t think it could be fixed but she did it. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Krista is amazing. I have gone to her for 5+ years now, and will never go anywhere else. Not only is she super friendly, but she takes her time and does an impeccable job. I have tried going to other people a few times (I moved at one point), and no one does anywhere near as good of a job as Krista does. I am a client for LIFE ????

I have had my hair done several times by Krista (2017/2018). I do like Krista (she's very kind ) however I have to be honest about what matters - her lack of reliability and time management skills. Several reschedules and appointments that were overly long and time inefficient 4-8 hours for standard requests (trim, highlight).Always a 2 /3hour job with any other stylist . Our last appt She tried to reschedule the day of because she slept in . our relationship expired that day and went to someone else. My Usual stylist had been on maternity leave and was on it until August this year and I thought maybe to Give Krista another shot in June 2020 when everything reopened .. well ... she has not changed . The night prior (late at night) she asked my hair history .. why the night prior ?? I told her 3 mo before I used a washout color on my hair .. (haven't we all..its been a pandemic) I was SO excited for color and cut . she told me she wasn't going to take the chance to color over my box color and that my hair May break off . I was going for a root touch up and a level MAYBE two levels light on a FEW PCS throughout . In the 17 years of getting color I've never been told someone can't color 3 months AFTER application of a pre existing wash out. It was nice to know how she felt the night before our appt after I arranged my work schedule and child care weeks in advance. She does run her own show so I guess this type of ethic is just not for me . In my opinion it came off as her trying to dodge the appointment . She does seem content with her pre- established clients . Krista is very nice and does does quality work for an affordable price but comes with the expense of being unreliable.

I feel so lucky to have such a talented stylist in our area. Krista is an absolute perfectionist at what she does and she is always staying on top of learning all the new techniques that come along. I can't imagine a better place to get your hair done within hours of any direction. She is THE BEST! In addition to doing amazing hair she's a sweet heart on top of it. If you're not having her do your hair, you're missing out! Xoxo

Had an appointment with Krista today and left her salon absolutely in love. I have been constantly stylist hopping for the last 15 years because no one could ever give me what I wanted. How hard is it to get a quality cut and color ? Apparently most high end salons in McHenry County can't! I've wasted hundreds of dollars every six weeks updating highlights/trims etc and it was such a drag. I stumbled across Krista's website after looking once again for a stylist. She has a super cute salon and it's very comfortable! She was friendly, sweet and approachable right of the bat. She educated me more on my hair and hair in general than anyone I've ever gone to. I was blown away with her asking about my hair history as no one has ever even asked! We looked at the photos I brought and discussed what was achievable. She was honest and accommodating. We decided on balayage . The past few balayage appointments I've had were just a terrible ombré job - and cost 300+! no thanks chazios, Mario's etc.. those places were so quick to foil me up and barely lift my dark hair to orange In the 1 hour block they schedule for a cut and color (stupid). Krista tested my hair to see what she was working with. I've NEVR had a stylist determine how my hair was going to lift and to see the actual condition of my hair and what it could handle. That immediately sold me on Krista. She highly recommended a Malibu treatment to revive my hair (and IT IS A GAME CHANGER) did opalex (I've asked so many stylists to do it and they had no idea what it was). Oh btw KRista doesn't nickel and dime you like other salons for it (aka chazios). She gave me the best hair cut of my life . I got exactly what I asked for. She took her time and was precise. Most stylists whip out the straighter because they can't blow dry my thick coarse hair straight. Krista did phenomenal ... so phenomenal that I got 3 compliments grocery shopping after . I am so pleased with her skills and I highly recommend. Don't skip on this one ladies (or gents). She's worth every penny I promise.

Such a quaint relaxing atmosphere! Krista always takes her time and is so consistent with my blonde and keeping my hair healthy.
