Rude people, terrible service, and a phone menu you can't navigate through to talk with someone. If you do manage to get through to someone they just hang up. Stay away.

Stay away from this McHenry CVS. Across the street Walgreens, or any other drugstore location would be more helpful. Usually am I die hard CVS fan but for some reason this location makes everything super difficult… always an issue.

The pharmacy technician was very rude. My wife and I went in to pick up her script at 11:29am with no one in line and as we approached the register the lady sternly and rudely stated they were closed for lunch at 11:30am for the next half an hour. Instead of being customer service focused and offering to quickly assist us which would have only taken a minute or two, we were rudely turned away.

Any time I need to call with a question, the wait time for someone in the pharmacy to pick up the phone is much shorter than my experiences with other pharmacies. With a different pharmacy chain in 2 seperate states, I've waited over an hour before giving up more than once per location and our wasn't even a "high traffic" time of day, but the absolute longest I've ever had to wait with CVS was 20 minutes in an unusual situation when they were understaffed during a busy time while the app was down. The average has been less than 3 minutes! All staff I've encountered has been friendly, professional, and helpful. They usually have good sales on vitamins & supplements. Aside from that, the one thing I don't like is their prices when something isn't on sale. Certainly makes the rewards program appealing and one can get coupons in-store, I they're random and may be for something you'd never need. The efficiency of the pharmacy is what truly matters to me and I feel they excel at that even if a pharmacist or tech needs to take 10 minutes to find information to help a customer (something not every pharmacy is willing to do), they're still pretty fast in comparison.

Pharmacy staff is not helpful, and a bit unprofessional. I asked them a question on where a product was, and they told me the aisle number (which I already checked) and no one would give me any further assistance.

Called the pharmacy to ask a 2 second question regarding pickup, and they put the phone on the desk without saying anything. I could overhear swearing and conversation about patients and prescriptions. While I'm trying to inform them that I can hear this info, the call ends. A bunch of children cosplaying as hospitality.

Rude, rude, rude…. If I didn’t have to use cvs as my preferred pharmacy for insurance reasons I wouldn’t step foot in another cvs again.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I will do EVERYTHING in my power to get the man who was working overnight at the pharmacy fired. Had an attitude from start to finish. Rushed me throughout the whole interaction. And because he was upset he made me wait 1 hour for eyedrops that they already had. I drove 30 minutes to get the prescription my doctor prescribed me and the audacity to treat a customer like that is unacceptable.

DO NOT GO HERE!! The pharmacy switched MULTIPLE medications with another person. It’s dangerous, reckless…. My own psychiatrist had to chew them out. I had to go a MONTH without medication because everytime a prescription was made in my name it was put under somebody else.

Love using the coupons that you get when checking out. Wish the expiration date on them had longer period of time.
