If I could give less than one star.. I would. I was a walk-in yesterday so I wasn't expecting top of the line service or anything... however, the lady that did my nails was on the phone the entire time... my shapes arent even... my nails arent even... the nail polish doesnt cover the side of the nails... I had to keep asking her to fix holes in the polish... THE ACCENT COLORS ARENT EVEN ON THE CORRECT FINGERS.... and they were suppose to be french tipped not solid color.... "why didn't you say something:" Trust me.. I did.. multiple times... she just kept saying ":i know" and kept talking on her phone... making phone calls replying to texts.. which i dont care as long as you can do your job at the same time.... she clearly could not... shouldnt have paid... will never go back or recommend

Had a pedicure in Nov. Was there earlier in the year 2x in 2021. I had the guy, I have had a ingrown toenail for quite awhile on my one big toe, Both times he dug it out and felt good and haven't had any Problems since. it hurt like hell when he did it though but feels so much better. The toe nail is still curved but I have had for years so it may take a lot of time to be straight again.. Been to a podiatrist and never did anything about the ingrown nail or the curve,. Said it will always be like that. But I have read where it can be trained to grow without curving. Just have to retrain it. Time will tellI had the temperate changing color put on. It's time to go back.Service: Pedicures

Went to get an eyebrow wax. First, I was late to my 11:30 appointment and arrived at 11:40. Being late was my problem but when I arrived the person who was supposed to do my eyebrows had left. I came back an hour later to get the service and I left with different brows. I had gotten an eyebrow wax here before and loved my brows. This time I had someone different and they rushed which is why I left with two brows that were not shaped the same way.I had gotten my nails done here before this experience and I would rate that a 3/5. I will not be coming to CT nails again for any service.

I used to go here many times but the last time the pedicure was so painful. The girl cut me several times and made me bleed. She buffed the bottom of my feet for 3 seconds, slapped some lotion on my legs. When she was putting on my polish she kept getting the torture device out to dig under my nail I finally had to tell her to stop!!! When I complained they gave me $5 off. Terrible service. My daughters nails were beautiful but later she showed me all the cuts she had on her fingers. I will not go back there again!!!

I love this location but after Kim left this place has gone downhill. Tom is an excellent technician but there is no one to help. They don't offer waxing services only on certain days. The nail colors I want are out of stock and they don't reorder them. I don't consider children to help when it's busy with no license to do nails. After ten years of going here I have to find a new shop.

Firstly, I'd like to say i left my fav place to give this place a chance. I want to vomit- never had this much anxiety over my nails! First off the man who did my nails tried to get one nail that had acrylic on it off with a plastic acrylic nail- i should've stopped there even after I asked him to file it off (it was a small amount)!! and he replied it would take too long. I made him file it and it took 15 seconds maybe. I'm sorry but- no one is here so why the hurry it takes a couple extra seconds to save my nail from unnecessary ripping off acrylic. Some of my nails don't look coffin shaped. Then he passed me to another man to polish me. That was a joke the guy put the wrong color and almost even argued that it was the right one when clear as day the name wasn't the same on the bottle or the color of the swatch. Went to pay they charged me an extra $5 for the shape.... umm doesn't the shape come with the set of nails you just put on me??? Never again!!

If I could give a ZERO Star rating I would. I've been to a lot of nail salons in McHenry, and none of them have been this bad. I got my nails done earlyish one day this past week. There was one woman working doing a manicure, and then one of the womans two young daughters was doing a pedicure. I was told to sit down and pick out my color (which i did immediately). I then waited 20 minutes while the owner next to me finished up the clients manicure. when she began working on my Fill, I specifically told the woman that I knew one was cracked, and needed to be fixed. I also mentioned i had a photo shoot later that day, and that they needed to hold up until then so i really needed her to fix that nail. She took my old polish off and insisted none of my fingers had cracks. My nails were then painted by what looked like, her miserable 15 y/o daughter, who didn't even paint the end tips of my nails. After TWO HOURS of having my nails done, the one i was TELLING her about, broke. Two more hours went by. another breaks. I haven't even had my nails done for a week, and FOURRRR of my nails have broken.Ive never had that happen anywhere else. ): please spend your money elsewhere.
