We have been going to Butch's for years. Honest, fair, and we have always been satisfied with their work and prices. When you find a mechanic you trust absolutely it is a wonderful thing. Joel, the owner, always gives us a sense that he really cares about his customers. Highly recommend.

The owner of the shop is a ********************. I have been serveral times for brake work & assorted repairs. The prices are fair & you they don't recommend repairs if they are not needed.

brought my car in to get an oil change have been there a couple times before and service was really good, i pick up my car today after work and when i get it home i notice the driver side fog light cover missing, i bring it right back to the shop and point it out to the tech there he tells me it was gone when i brought it in........wont be going to this shop anytime soon after thatService: General repairs & maintenance

We take all our cars here for repairs. The work is done right and they are very up front and honest. Never telling you you need things you don't and the prices are very fair also.

Been taking auto's to Butches for many years.Great guys working on the auto's. Very knowledgeable. Will let you know up front if they will do that particular type of work that needs to be done to your car. If not they'll recommend someone.

Butch's Automotive!! The most trusted mechanics in my life. My extended family and I, 5 cars total, see Joel & John almost exclusively. They don't do tires, and an oil change requires an appointment but for any major work or emergency work there is not a better mechanical garage in McHenry County.
