“We shopped for crafts for the grandkids, school is out, and we need to keep their minds and hands busy. We found many items on sale . We are working on stepping stones for my garden. And pots for theirs . All items were reasonably priced. Their are alot of items on sale at the McHenry Hobby Lobby.”
“I first learned to knit a few years back when I lived in chicago but found it to be very frustrating when I made a mistake and didn’t know how to fix it. The group classes I took didn’t have time to address it. So eventually I gave up.I moved to the area a few months ago and as I’ve been getting to learn about the community, I came across this total gem of a shop. I stopped in and penny was very warm and welcoming. Their dog is the sweetest too! I signed up for classes with Rob and have been very happy! I’m learning how to recognize and fix mistakes and not get frustrated by them. My technique has improved and most of all it’s a fun and relaxing experience when I pick up my needles!I’m so glad I found this place. They also have wool spinning classes and weaving classes too. I’m looking forward to learning more from them.”

“I had a 14x21 sketch I needed scanned before it was sent off to a new location. I was turned away by several other places but I was finally able to find this place. Not only did they scan it there in front of me while I waited, they also exceded my needs and expectations by being able to give me a print on some beautiful watercolor paper ready by next day! Thank you so much for your help it was above and beyond what I hoped for.”
