I have been with FM for 23 years, approximately. I have had great service, with an occasional glitch here and there. Fortunately all resolved quickly and professionally. Its true that it has taken some time for it to modernize some of the services, it's also true some are more complicated than others especially for seniors. I have always been impressed and proud that our bank employees have maintained a professional look, thru the years, even as the general public's look has had an overall degrading. This week, after an extended absence, I was very disappointed to see, several employees in jeans,and over all not a very professional look. I remember always seeing men in nice shirts and a tie, ladies in a dress of dress pants.Believe it or not it makes a difference in the overall impression of the bank.The employees do their jobs, and well. Very curtious and polite. No complaints in that area. It just doesn't reflect a professional appearance.ThanksSyma Cervone

I had a 297.00 dispute with Hopper online hotel reservation regarding a refund for services not rendered. I contact first mid, to stop payment. First mid returned my money on 7/11/2023. On October 4, 2023 first mid dispute department denied my claim. They did not notify me of their findings, by letter or email. They breach the contract for disclosures which is against the law. First Mid has put me in a hardship position and don't give a damn because I'm BLACK. They refuse monthly installments of paying this overdraft back. The banks don't have money to lend in the first place. The 297.00 they refunded back to me came from my social security trust account. I'm the beneficiary. First Mid has put me a senior citizen on disability is a hardship position. No good will come to everyone involved with this tragedy, MARK MY WORD,

Lukas was amazing as I couldn't get Zelle and First Mid Bank app to connect. He was patient and understanding and had to make a couple calls to get it done. Lukas said that he was going to follow-up today regarding the link was complete and he followed through on that promise!

I've banked here since the 70's. When i moved to Florida i still banked here. I've read some of the negative comments on here and all i have to say is "not me." I like my bank, i've been witness to all the growing and branching out this bank has done over all those years and it's all been good.

No professionalism has been displayed, since Soy Capital bank was purchased from First Mid Bank. I have no trust in them managing my monies. The staff/employees are very rude and unprofessionalism is the mission they display when I'm in need of service. We pulled out our cash and I suggest you do the same A.S.A.P.

I have been with this bank for over 40 years now. I have always had great customer service in the drive-up and inside when I used to go in before Covid. Never an issue with what I deposited being correct . If I have any questions about our account they in the past they have taken the time to explain things to me . I signed up for online service and had a few questions so that is why I said helping in explaining things to me. I have taken their trips before and this is a great service to offer and the trip manager has been really nice too . I love it that once a year I get free checks with the checking account I signed up for too.

If you can avoid banking here, definitely avoid it. I wish I could give them negative stars! We have had problem after problem. We overdrew a little but made sure to deposit money in our account to bring it back in the clear before the cut off time and still got charged an overdraft fee. When I asked them why they tried telling me it was because it wasn't until after the time, even though I have a screenshot ofy account showing it was made before cut off time. They still will do nothing about it. This definitely isn't the first problem. I will be finding a new bank quickly. If you bank with them, boycott them! Terrible!
