If Satan were in the market for a new vehicle, he would be so tortured by this experience he would go somewhere else. Salespeson Anthony is responsible for running this "Nightmare on Matteson Street" due to his unprofessional and insulting sales strategy. If you didn't plan on arguing with the staff I wouldn't put this dealership on your agenda, it would only lead to a waste of time. As someone who has been to multiple different dealerships, Hawkinson Nissan would have to reside in the depths of hell for me to even ponder the idea of writing a review that was worthy of two stars-- if they were lucky.

My wife went in for an oil change and tire rotation, she drove the car home saying the car is making a loud noise. After I did an inspection, I found that both front tires lug nuts were loose I then had to take the car back to make sure nothing was damaged. I thank God she was not in a serious accident. BE CAREFUL PEOLPLE

My daughter purchased a 2018 Hyundai Sonata from Hawkinson Kia. She purchased the car in August 2022 and by October 2022 the car was broke down. The car had to be towed back to Kia in Matteson IL and they initially said it was covered by warranty. However, after going back and forth between Kia ( the dealership it was purchased from) and Hyundai ( the maker of the vehicle) unfortunately now they are saying it isn't covered. How can a car you only had two not be covered by the warranty. I'm ready to take this to the news outlets. This is not good customer for Kia Hawkinson in Matteson IL or Hyundai. My 21 year daughter put down $6000 on a car that turned out to be a lemon. It's just not fair at all it's a total scam. I would not buy a pencil from this dealership this is bad business. I would give them a zero but you have to at least give them one star that they don't deserve.

I purchased my vehicle at lease end and purchased the extended service plan for $2,000. Recently, the push start button assembly popped behind the fascia and my wife made an appointment at the dealership. Hawkinson had the extended service plan on file and noted the $50 deductible. They charged $160 and stated that the service was not covered under the extended service plan. Additionally, the service advisor stated that even if the vehicle was only three months old it wouldn't be covered because of abuse. Once again, we are talking about the ignition push button which has no signs of damage. The car only has 44K miles. That will be the last time I go to Hawkinson. That so-called extended service plan was a waste of $2,000.

i brought a Chevy Silverado 2020 from them it smell very bad due to the former owner must had a dog in it. the dealer did pay for the detail after 4 months of complains to them. but after we settled that Then my sister brought a car they would even pay me a customer referral of 100.00 as most dealerships would do in being great-full to a customer for that referral i am now calling asking why not do that right as i call they post pone me many times. i had believed they were a honest dealership now m family will never buy another car o Suv there. It's all about business in truth in a honest way.

I have no reason to give this Nissan dealership anything other than 5 stars! Both my mother and sister drives Nissans. Each car needed a little bit of service. I contacted a few dealerships and they were all booked for sometime to come. However, I called Hawkinson Nissan and told them of my dilemma and I asked for assistance ASAP, they told me what time to arrive, I did it, they fixed it... That very day. Jason, in the service department was exceptional! He was very professional, kind and very attentive. The issue was resolved and I was out the door in a good amount of time. So, I asked if I could bring my sisters car and Jason said if I brought it in early next morning, he'd have me in and out ASAP. Done deal! thanks Jason! Lastly, I also stopped by for the first time a few days earlier before the 1st service job to see if they could take a look at a key fob that wasn't working properly. Joel, (see pic) in the retail parts, simply changed the battery and 5 mins & $6 later, I was out the door. Thanks Hawkinson Nissan!

Buying a car is stressful, but Nissan was super helpful at the beginning of my car buying experience, but I left bitter. After we went through negotiating on a price, I initialed the price that we agreed upon. Unfortunately, the car price was $1,500 more when we signed our final documents with the finance manager. Not sure if this was an honest mistake, but we caught the error, and then they adjusted the price again. There was also some confusion with my previous car title that I don't recall was an issue until we signed and bought the car. Overall, I will say that it wasn't the best customer service experience that I have had, but I do love my car.

I called Hawkinson Nissan on a Thursday, due to my radio screen going out. There was actually a few things I needed addressed, so I told Jason over the phone all the issues I was having plus the two recalls on my vehicle. He got me scheduled for service the following Tuesday. Jason was so wonderful, as was Judy in scheduling. Jason spoke in terms I could understand, and I didn't feel taken advantage of like I usually do regarding car stuff. The wait was a little long, but a lot needed to be addressed. I drove away feeling a lot safer in my car. Thank you all so much!

I been contacting this dealership for about week for a bill sale for my car I purchased there. The one Guy name Ben was friendly and helpful. He did state someone had to go offsite get it and scan it but he assured me it will be done same day. A week later no document. Today I get on phone with finance manager / business director and Ask literally as for the same document oh we can find you/ are you on the loan with someone/ your not coming up. Are you sure you purchased a car here. I'm said yeah I bought two cars for you all. Well can you transfer me to the other guy that initially spoke too the call hung up. 10 min go by I call back guess what the finance manger found me then states it's going to be 24 to 72 hrs to get a bill a sale. Things have changed since Tim Curran and Tajiah left smh. I won't be buying another thing from them .

Just Terrible. Buying a vehicle for my son, I Called and asked if they price matched and was told that they would offer $500 under my other offer which was $15,800 financed out the door after a $7,000 down payment which had me at $260 a month for 60 months. He promised he would beat my other offer which was a blatant lie. I know how this works so I was prepared for some foolery but never expected to be made out to be a fool. So when I finally went into the dealership later that day, he has me sitting there for a while then comes back with numbers that are $800 more than my previous offer. Which I really didn't make an issue because the other dealership is over an hour away and I didn't want to make that drive but then he says my payments would be $337 for 72 months. How? Oh yes, I asked him why are his monthly payments almost $100 more for a year longer when there has only been a $800 increase and he says and I quote, "I don't know". What??? I'm done. I walked out. I hate buying a car. They really try to test your patience and intelligence. They keep showing you the monthly payment but never want to give you the price of the vehicle. Ask for the "out the door" price or they will play you.

What a Wast of time I had a appointment with a confirmation code to be there to purchase a dodge charger rt they even called to confirm my appointment I told them I was 100% comming from two hours away to purchase this vehicle (cash deal) only to get there and the sales manager tell me "oh that charger just sold" so of course I was upset I wanted that car specifically and had a appointment to buy it then he tells me "well there's other dealerships down the road buddy" so thats exactly what I did went down the road and purchased a 2020 dodge charger r/t from Matteson dodge chrysler jeep CASH deal i cant believe how i was treated there will not recommend them to anyone mind you i run a store with 20 employees and would never do that to a customer very upsetting

They send you scratch off flyer in the mail saying "Scratch off these circles to see if you have won". I scratched it off & my numbers matched to win the $1,000 prize. But when I got there they sale!! sale!! sale!! Very pushy sales people & when I tried to ask about the money its "check the small print". You win the ability to spin a wheel. I won $2. When I continued to ask about the money, i was asked very aggressively by the older white haired man in charge, " Do you want the $2 or not!?!"several times. I refuse to be disrespected or belittled when you all are tricking people saying they won a Cash prize in the middle of a Pandemic where people (myself included) has lost their jobs to this covid shutdown. Can't believe this. Are you all this desperate for sale!? Shame. Shame Shame

Had great communication with Melissa throughout the process had a rough start during the process of purchase but did not involve Melissa. Rick was great in the final process of purchase but disappointment in the lack of follow through after my purchase. I left a couple messages in the GM Gregs inbox he never bothered to email me or return my call. Rick Melissa were great during the purchase process & I thank them for their great customer service. I received no call or email & it took message upon message for anyone to get back to me in regards to the leather being put into my wife's car that was negotiated in the purchase. Now the process of the appt for the leather was another hassle it took a total of 2 hours 1 hr standing in the rain outside the enterprise facility when we had a scheduled appt. The process after our purchase has been very disappointing. Upon finally getting the leather installed I carefully inspected the leather & found a fine razor cut on the seat it's been weeks & the issue still has not been resolved we purchased 28 May 20 I am leaving this review on today's date of 24 July 20 I'd also like to thank Stephen lee who has been very apologetic & helpful! My wife & I are in the market yet again for another vehicle for our daughter we found a vehicle at hawkinson that we were interested in when I mentioned it to my wife she said "absolutely not" again this is due to the disappointment in lack of follow through. We definitely will not be return customers at Hawkinson Nissan A simple phone call or email can go a long way!

Worst car buying experience ever the classic bait and switch ever. Advertised a truck for 26,000 on two website contact them to purchase the truck sent them all my personal info to get financing they came back with 0% for 84 months with payment of $384 witch made the truck 32,256 6,256 over advertised price wasted four and a half hours of my day with these crooks I offered to work with them with no success watch out for them The sales man name was Edward and the sales manager was John Murphy I left out during are negotiating they changed the prices on the websites very dirty business I could go on how this went down but I'll leave that for when I talk to corporate thanks
