“It was pretty busy, it was also a Sunday. Any Pete’s market has the best skirt steak meat. However, this place their aisle seemed narrow/small for what I’m used to at my Chicago location.”

527 W 14th St, Chicago Heights“Good selection of fresh produce, meats, organic grocery items, and healthy options overall. There is a section with items that are "here today, gone tomorrow" that I feel always has some items worth checking out, whether seasonal or going out of stock.
I usually bring my reusable bag and put my items in there, but if I forget it I can usually find an empty box on the shelf or in one of their carts that I can use to put my items in to save on plastic waste and buying a bag from them. Super convenient and great for the environment.
Good selection of meats and fruit, especially if you want something locally grow. Prices fluctuate but they seem reasonable to me in comparison for the quality of items you're getting.
I will say the self checkouts rolling out at many of the Aldi's are game changers. Otherwise, the lines can get pretty ridiculous and, besides holidays, I don't think I've ever seen more than two lanes open at a time at ANY Aldi from Illinois to Indiana. Other than that, I love going to Aldi for the prices, quality of ingredients, and the "here today, gone tomorrow" section!!!
P.S. there is a section in most Aldi locations with items from gardening to shoes to blankets to coloring books. Great finds in there too!!!”

9271 W 159th St, Orland Hills“I really like this Aldi. This Aldi always have everything in stock and then some. Their vegetables are always fresh, and the potatoes are not rotten like some Aldi in different areas. Their shelves are always fully stocked, and the freezers and refrigerated areas are fully stocked. Whenever I go there to buy my groceries, I always find what I need. That's what keeps me coming back.”

20230 LaGrange Rd, Frankfort“Aldi's used to be my go-to store. But they no longer carry skim milk in gallons.. I used to get several a week. They are also having trouble keeping shelves stocked with regular items. Also notice price increases that are now higher than regular grocery stores .
I did have trouble with the self checkout overcharging me. The employees were very helpful and got my card credited right away and fixed the problem”

4250 167th St, Oak Forest“Visited.Sunday along w nephew and his mom. Nice store. I became ill in store and needed to sit down. I was given candy bar by my niece but had to lean on counter where ppl bag their groceries. I did not like doing this but nowhere to sit. My niece bagged my groceries for me as well as her own. I was helped to my car. Please Aldi keep a few chairs in store for older seniors. The store was too warm too. Ty.”

18901 S Halsted St, Glenwood“Love this store, I love the remodel and the affordable groceries for my family! My only wish is that they had more diapers available, they are the best diapers, and they are always out, bc of the great price.”
“I love this market! Fresh meats and great prices. I have to say the only complaint is that their weekly ads on their website are put up entirely too late or they don't put it up at all. So basically, you have to drive all the way out there just to find out what the sales are.”

14529 Western Ave, Dixmoor“They underwent construction earlier on in the year. The bread placement has changed to the beginning of the store, as well as the fruits and veggies. They added an extra freezer aisle. I believe there is more products then there used to be.”

16000 Harlem Ave, Tinley Park“We really liked this Aldi. This is our first time stopping here. This Aldi has very nice wide aisles to fit two carts. It was very clean and well stocked. Had a great variety of food and beverages.”
“The week that I was there, they had nice thick t-bone steaks for $3.99 per lb which is not heard of. Many meat items had very good sale price. Everything looked fresh, however, there was a slight odor. Wear a heavy coat, as it very cold, on purpose.”

1968 Sibley Blvd, Calumet City“Prices are appropriate (and an app is available). The only portion of the stock that I found was slightly higher than I am used to was the sodas, and if you time out what deals are available on a given week, you probably won't notice this significantly.Selection of produce is clean, well stocked and the temperatures in the cooler are exactly where they're supposed to be. Similarly, when I visited the meat sections, the cuts were all fresh, properly sliced, properly sealed and the coolers were at and below the needed temperature. As a former butcher's assistant, I am aggressively picky about my meat departments and will refuse to shop in grocers where I find these lacking. I found nothing inappropriate about what I saw here, and the prices are what I expect in 2024.Overall, the selection of goods is much larger than I expected in a local grocer, which was a pleasant surprise. It is larger than I'm accustomed to in Detroit and there's plenty here to choose from. If you're going to shop here, get the app and use that to keep abreast of current prices/deals.Please keep in mind, however, that the pharmacy is a little thin, so this is not a first choice for medications.”
“Pretty clean. Easy to find what I went there for, Cookies! They also had a very thick glaze on top of cinnamon rolls, so I picked those up as well. Only disappointing item was the off-brand Ho Ho's, very very small in comparison to any others.”
