“We have a very large, very sweet, but very intimidating Am Staff. We had an awful experience at a vet in Belleville and found All About Pets by a referral from our kennel. We initially saw Dr. Chris, who was absolutely amazing! He is patient and kind and listens to our concerns. We had our dogs annual checkup scheduled today and Brittany, the vet tech, was talking to us about the vet and told us that “she” would be in with us in a minute. I became uneasy, because I know Dr. Chris and trust him. When Dr. Melissa McDearmon came in she was so kind and loving towards our dog. Our dog has never been muzzled at a vet until our terrible experience at the other vet office in Belleville. Since that visit, he has always been muzzled for at least part of the visit. We can tell that he has become more anxious than usual after that visit. When she came in, Dr. McDearmon sat on the floor and talked to our dog, Diesel. She took her time to help his anxiety, she listened to our concerns and when the time came for me to put the muzzle on, she could tell that was his issue of anxiety. We took the muzzle off and Dr. McDearmon and Brittany completed the exam with no issues. I can not recommend the office enough. My husband and I were so impressed and relieved that it brought me to tears in the car on the way home. I am so thankful to have found All About Pets, Dr. Chris, Dr. McDearmon and the whole team there!”
