This little gem of a market has a great deli and produce and many one of a kind items. I’m a big fan of Boars Head deli meats and the stock in the deli had a great variety. I drove there especially to buy a specific flavor of Blue Bell ice cream they carry.

We use delivery quite a bit (unfortunately magnified by the pandemic), but there are things we want to buy ourselves. Betty Ann Market is a great store, and they have what we prefer to buy ourselves. They also have great people working there!

After hearing the owners are Christian and doing a lot for the Mascoutah community, I drove over from Belleville and was glad I did! I'm used to shopping Walmart and this was worth the drive!Arrived after lunch, which was unfortunate because the prepared deli chicken made me drool. The store was clean, the produce fresh, the staff incredibly nice, and I finally found a wonderful meat section that didn't reflect post apocalyptic pricing! This place is the opposite of Walmart!I keep coming over from Belleville!

We were in town visiting family. There was a desperate need for vegetable after lots of dining out. The old grocery store name is still on the building but the sign was updated. From the street/parking lot, it looks a bit sketchy. Go ahead and park, then head inside. You'll find Friendly staff & a decent selection for a small town. The produce was in good condition and hit the spot. Prices were higher than our usual store but it definitely beat going out of town to shop.

They make me feel at home...like I've been shopping there all my life. They're like the Cheers of grocery stores. Everyone knows your name. Thank you for helping me feel at home.

I've been going to Tom's for years. Unfortunately it's going down hill, for example go to the milk section and look at the expiration date, now walk to the bread and look at the expiration date, if you passed the fruits and vegetables section you will see 90% of it is going bad, molding or good to go (rare). I do still go there because some things just don't expire as fast as others and that's all I acquire from there now. Advice to the owners: Stop over buying your produce and letting your food sit on shelves past the expiration date. As you may or may not know the Tom's store in Freeburg was shutdown due to lack of customers and a majority of their reviews is the exact same issue I'm referring to here. Great employees, great location, now let's make their produce great again ?. I will continue to shop here however my selection will be carefully picked due to lingering food. I hope this positive criticism prevents the residents in this area from driving 30 minutes away for milk, bread, veggies, etc. Check before you buy. I have made the mistake before and paid for it.**Update September 7, 2022**This place is now called Betty Ann Market. So far they're doing upgrades and I have no complaints. Going to bump this place up a star for making positive changes for the better** Once the name OFFICIALLY changes I'll give a new review. So far so good!

I like the changes being made at Betty Ann Market in Mascoutah, but hope the poor service I received there tonight is an aberration and not a sign of things to come. I don't mind paying a little extra to shop local, but local loyalty has its limits and mine is poor customer service.

The outside is lookin' pretty raggity! But they've got the place stocked pretty well. The checkers are always quick and friendly. The building needs some love though!

Clean. Friendly. Put an order in for desserts. That went very smooth. I love that they know my name.

Definitely an improvment in the produce dept. since the switch. Thank you guys.!. However, I think there had to be pricing error on the fruit tray, no way it was really $32.99, but I also did not ask.
