I've been dealing with a reoccurring problem with this office for over 2 years now. No one ever answers the phone! It's a half hour minimum to get anyone to answer. Either it's a front desk person problem, phones don't work from reading the other reviews or they're extremely understaffed. Either way not my problem and I'll be looking for a new office soon. Once I can actually get to my doctor she's great though. Dr. Shirley

Been trying for 2 weeks to get thru by phone….. had to cancel an appointment because they don’t answer for me to get a referral. Staff is rude. They never return your calls….. I’ll be looking for another doctor. Funny, I’ll get the same cookie cutter response. Lol

HSHS has added a policy that requires annual drug testing in order to get prescriptions filled. It's humiliating and degrading to have to repeatedly prove to your doctor that you're not a dealer. I've been taking my medication as prescribed for over a decade. There is no reason for them to believe I am misusing my medication. I NEED my prescription, why would I sell it? This office makes you jump through hoops and treats you like a criminal for seeking basic treatment.

They never answer the phone!!!!!! Longest wait times ever on the phone I have ever experienced in 20 years and it's unprofessional. The computer system never connects you to the office. I found out they contract that out to another company who they should FIRE TODAY! I tried for two days to get through to set up an appointment because I was sick and could never get through. HORRIBLE TECHNOLOGY!Hire some more people to answer the phone or get out of the healthcare business! I'm switching to BJC. My wait time on the phone was 30 seconds.

I only have one complaint about this office.It always takes 5+ minutes to get through to anyone on the phone and I’ve waited as long as 40 minutes before, you don’t even have the option for leaving a message or call back. Anyways..I’ve seen Amanda for several years now. I have literally changed insurance companies just to be able to stay with her. She has excellent bedside manner. She doesn’t make you feel rushed through your appointment and listens to all questions and concerns. A lot of other doctors have have tunnel vision and their minds set before they barely meet you but she takes the time to assess and explore all aspects. She truly has the patient’s best interest at heart and will do anything she can to help them, and always with a big smile!

The staff here are unacceptable. They all should be terminated and replaced with an entirely new staff. It has to be a culture problem. Answer the damn phone. Quit gabbing when patients are waiting. It’s a shame, because I actually like working with Amanda.

Great Office. Dr. Luchtefeld and the nursing staff are all very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Cadiologist Dr. Cahill also rotates through this office and was also excellent.

I switched providers at the beginning of the year because I was extremely dissatisfied with my last GP. I have been seeing Holly Shirley, NP, and have already had to see her several times and made several calls to her office for her correspondence. She has been attentive and has never made me feel like a burden to her. I have always felt comfortable and heard. She has provided more proactive care to me in 1 month than my old GP did in 7 years. The office staff is always friendly and engaging, which I highly value as a patient. I never wait long to be seen so I am always confident scheduling appointments over my lunch break because I know I'll be back to work on time. I have all the confidence in Holly and the staff at this office and I absolutely LOVE that I can receive things like chest x-rays, breathing treatments, and EKG's in the office. Talk about convenience! I will sing this office's praises as long as they're good to me and I have already recommended them to several friends. Thank you for taking me seriously and not making me feel crazy!

Amanda Kilzer provides excellent health care to me. I have numerous medical issues, and she is on top of all of them. She is a very genuine, caring person. I would also like to acknowledge her nurse, Theresa, who always listens and takes good care of me; and the phlebotomist, Emily, who is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She is kind, attentive, and professional. Kudos to you all!

Wonderful new offices and staff were very attentive. Great location. I did have a long wait and my scripts were not sent to pharmacy as promised. But doctors are great.

I do not recommend this office to anyone. The staff is rude and has poor follow-up. I was referred to specialists and their office never contacted me to tell me who they referred me to.Dr. Malcharek does not listen when you are telling him about your problems and doesn't take the time to get all details from you to ensure you get the treatment needed. Also, he made snarky comments about how often I had to go into their office and said with as much I was in the office I had paid the power bill for the month. Very unprofessional. Had he listened to the issue I had, maybe I wouldn't have been in office as much as I had been.I spoke with a practice manager and she set unrealistic expectations resulting in me not being able to get care for a few months unless I found care outside of HSHS. I will gladly be seeking care elsewhere.

need office staff. can't even answer the phone to get you in. obviously to many patients at this location to take on any more or treat the ones they have. called five times and was on hold ten minutes each time and gave up. just dial 911 you will have to by the time they take your call.

Amanda kilzer is an awesome n/p. Will always take the time to listen to any of my concerns. The new phone system is horrible as you can never get through however. But this is not my doctors fault. She is the best. Worth the inconvenience.
