The folks at carstar are great! My truck had some severe damage to the body and after almost a month in the shop, it looks brand new! Dustin was great working with the finances and timeline. Will recommend carstar to those who need to have damage control and repair.

Car Star has outstanding customer service. They are friendly and professional. They had my car for 12 days and kept me updated via text probably 3 or 4 times. I got my car back one day earlier than originally planned. It was also cleaned inside and out. I’m a very happy/satisfied customer and would highly recommend them.

I had a very good experience. Customer Service was great. Answered any questions I had. Took care of the rental for me. They did great work on my car, and was done on the date they gave me. I received updates along the way on the progress.

Go somewhere else. They take two months, and don’t even complete the work they should. My car wasn’t completely calibrated, a tire now has a slow leak that didn’t before, and the battery in my key fab was completely drained. On top of all that, they charge 3% for the privilege of using a debit card to pay your deductible. Definitely would not recommend.

I have been going to carstar in Maryville IL for a very very long time and have always done a exceptional job! I will never take any of my vehicles to anyone other than carstar period! All the employees are always pleasant and go the extra mile to keep you informed of the process of your vehicle. Thanks again for another wonderful job! I will see you again in the middle of July to fix my wifes car lol.

The team at CARStar went above and beyond Repairing my vehicle. My car had severe hail damage with a very difficult repair. Customer service here is amazing. They work with the insurance company and rental car company to make the inconvenient process of car repair as seamless as possible! The communication was excellent with several updates. We are lucky to have a company with such great customer service in our community

Unfortunately I recently had a VERY BAD experience with carstar of Maryville. We wrecked a car and we called our insurance. It was a light wreck in the front end. Our insurance told us to take it to carstar or another shop. Upon arrival, while we waited for the estimate Greg asked us if we were going to have them fix it "because I don't do estimates for other shops" . We haven't had an accident before so we were unaware what he meant by that. We stated we were going to have it fixed there and made an appointment. He brought us the estimate of $1846.42 of which we would have to pay our $500 deductible. He said once they got into it the estimate could go UP maybe $1000. It was also stated they couldn't get to the car until 2 months later and would have it at least a month beyond that. About a week later we decided to just sell the car as is after we talked to our insurance and they said they would give us the cash difference. We didn't want to be without a car for 3 months. Insurance told us to have Greg send the estimate to them.
Once we called he was extremely rude....stating again "I don't do estimates for other shops" and chastising my wife for our decision.
INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH, when the estimate was submitted to our insurance it was $400 less with labor rates cut and missing! With this in mind they are either OVERCHARGING CUSTOMERS OR COMMITTING INSURANCE FRAUD. Be careful!
