Store is absolutely beautiful and not over crowded. I shop for antique tools and I find plenty here. Owner is very nice man. I highly recommended to research prices to the actual recent market. I will visit here again in future.

A really great antique store that has just about anything that anyone could be looking for. Small appliances, handmade antique furniture, a huge selection of kitchen tables, small decorative glassware, a huge collection of antique cookware and serving Ware, a huge selection of handmade quilts, even outdoor decorative items. We were traveling in the area from the Northwest side of Chicago and found out the very nice owner was a transplant from his younger days in Chicago. I give Country at Heart Antique store five stars!!

One of the greatest antique stores. This is not like those small antiques store with limited items. They have everything for everybody; from books, to tools, to furniture, & electronics. The owner is very nice and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Great owner! He is so passionate about everything he has in the store. He is a prior service member and he gives 20% off to active duty/ guard/ reserve. He has this awesome cat and some pretty cool stuff in the store he travels everywhere to get the antiques. He does a lot of flea markets and keeps a percentage of what he has in the store. I would call him and ask him if he had anything specific..... Because quite honestly, he might have it, just not in the store. It is two levels (main level and basement) and has everything from quilts, kitchen equipment, and even farm equipment.

This store has been in town for many years. The owner is not native to marseilles; however, he has taken an active role in community events and concerns. He and his family have definitely made Marseilles their home and are very active in all-things Marseilles. He is an unofficial city historian, too, and enjoys talking about "the good ol' days." He is friendly, personable, knowledgable, and seems to be an all-round good egg. His store is large and has numerous and varying items. He freely admitted it was "a bit dusty," when I visited. It is and a good dusting would do. He has so many goodies that it will take you a while to look through it all. If you do not see something you want, just ask as he has rooms full of goodies else where. Prices of some items seem a bit high but he tries to work with you. Each time I have purchased an item I have been satisfied with the price, of course. I really enjoy the store, which is protected by Tabatha the kitty. There is so much to see and Tabatha just might escort you through the shop. Definitely stop in. It is worth it.
