All tires had VERY low pressure when delivered. When I returned and requested them to be aired up to pressure the staff refused to do so. I had to spend an hour with my little inflater to do what would have taken a minute for then to do.

It was easy to make the reservation and then change the date of the reservation to meet my specific needs.Clerk was very helpful when I had issues trying to use the app to pick up truck.

Terrible customer service. Returned a rental truck before the time provided & they charged me an additional day + mileage fees and when I called they would not assist in correcting the charges, they just left me on hold for 30 minutes. Do not recommend this location.

Customer service is on point. But for a million dollar company, get your team some better equipment! It’s terrible that the systems were downs and everyone had to leave to go get cash

It was as a pleasure to see this young lady hard at work on this Saturday morning Mariah multitasks with a steady flow of customers, but when I tell you I watched her patiently handle a restless crowd She Did That!!! Well to be honest I was one of the unrest with all this COVID even though I try not to live my life in fear I do try to avoid staying in places with high volume of random people especially when you don't see someone on Constant sanitizing duty(wiping things down) yes we were all trying to be safe and practicing social distancing but more then less trying to get out the hell out of of there!!! ASAP This young lady handled everything with professionalism, efficiency and grace..... Kudos Young Lady!!!!! Mariah Thanks for your #GreatCustomerServiceSkills

Terrible service trying to rent car trailer. The Lowering handle didn’t work before we even touch the trailer and the employee kept wanting to blame it on us saying “oh don’t know what y’all did to it walking to the trailer in the back and me getting back there “Recommended to take the employee with you to check any towing equipment before you blamed as well.

The morning of 6/27/20 I went to another U-haul location and they didn't have my 7am reservation. I needed it that morning. U-haul customer service on the phone apologized for not informing me that the reservation changed time from 7am to 4:45pm at an entirely different location, and also told me there wasn't a 5x8 trailer anywhere and they could only look 30 miles from Chicago. That was complete b******* because the manager at the location informed me there were several at this location I'm writing about (right outside the city). But this review isn't about u-haul's s*** customer service hotline. This review is about the 5-star staff in Markham.Shout out to Devonte (I cant remember the woman working with him on Saturday 6/27 but she was very helpful as well). They were slammed being the last weekend of the month and I watched them take care of all their customers with great attitudes and getting people in and out. I came in with my 4Runner and had the hitch in hand and Devonte assisted me in putting it on my vehicle and making sure my trailer was good to go. Of course they were just doing their job, but he even started asking me about my move, where I was heading, and gave me some advice on checking my trailer on stops.He made me feel like I had this since this was my first time dealing with a trailer. I'm writing this from point B of my trip! Thanks again guys, and thanks for helping me get in and out. To management: please pass my message along to corporate and let them know they need to do better to take care of their customers. If it wasn't for Devonte and the team I wouldn't have been able to make the move in the time that I did.

I would like to preface by saying I give WAYYYYY more positive reviews on here than bad. Probably 10:1 ratio, but they earned it. I had a trailer hitch install scheduled with them for roughly 2 weeks. The week of the install they called and cancelled because no one ordered the parts. Isn't that the point of the reservation? I eventually got over this and decided I would try rescheduling with them simply because it is convenient for me. They are in a good location and going to do the work for a fair price. My first phone call went to the call center where the manager was sent a message to call me. My second call made the actual Markham location, but after a 30 minute hold the worker had no clue what I was talking about and unable to help me. Her attempt to leave a note for the manager to call me must not have worked as I still haven't heard from him a week later. A third call went back to the call center which again was going to have the manager call me. At this point I was done reaching out...until they charged my credit card the full price of the install even though they never did the work, rescheduled the work, or even returned a phone call. Very bush league operation. I would welcome a call from the manager at this point but already know how that is going to end. Beware! Giving a 1 star because I can't give a 0.
