BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! They are the absolute worst. I paid 100.00 for check engine light, diagnosis on Aug 2, 2024, that they said would be put toward the total charge. 2 weeks later they told me they had to order a part and I needed to pay an additional 200.00, so they could purchase the part. In the mean time I had been waiting for them to contact me which they never did. After 10 days and me calling they told me to bring the car in for the installation, on 8/24/2024. When I got there there was no one there from the business, the mechanics did not know what I was referring to and the owners or business representatives were not there. I called the number that is listed on the website (708) 566-4098 as well as 312 286 7074 the number on the receipt. I called, both numbers, many many times and I got no answer and then a recorded message. That was all day Sat. Today is Monday 8/26/2024 and when I called someone told me the owners would be in and to call back, now no one will answer the telephone. I think they fit the complete description of CROOKS definitely with a capitol C. Thank goodness I paid with a credit card and stand a good chance of having my money returned, but the time they wasted, is just that, wasted. Genifer is a liar and so is her husband Luke Dalton, they certainly lied to me, I think they will lie to anybody. Jerk robbers.

If I could give one star, I would. My parents are elderly and I try to get them to confer with me before conducting business, but they took their car here for repair without telling me first. THIS WAS A HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. From August to October, they have taken their car back countless times due to faulty work. The company was not communicative, and everytime they returned the car, they had run all the gas out and claimed to have fixed the issue, but the car never ran properly. My parents paid close to $4k for the repair, and ultimately, had to take it elsewhere to get the car repaired properly. Now, we are looking to be reimbursed. The company won't communicate. We've sent a certified letter; they won't accept it. They have no email address, so I used their online portal to try to reach someone. As I read other reviews, I am so upset that my parents ever took their car to this place. I'm not sure how or why they are still in business. I will do everything in my power to hold them accountable. RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

Owner Lucas W Daulton Is literally a Crook, took a 1000 deposit for a car, I drove 3 hours to pick it up, When I got there i called him text him, and he told me to wait, I waited for 2 more hours, finally his Wife shows up, tells me the car is sold and to beat it. I Finally got a hold of Luke and he apologized up and down and told me he would refund my 1000 deposit, and never did, there is a police report, Zelle Dispute, and Small Claims Lawsuit pending against him and this "business" message me for picture of our conversation where he admits the car has been sold, and he says hes give me my money back, or see my profile picture. This guy is NOT someone you want to do business with STAY AWAY

Me and my wife wer on vacation and my cv shaft bound up and busted on my truck. They wer surprisingly fast at picking it up and fairly priced on repair. And upon me explaining that we wer not from the area and on vacation they wer quick to get it in and repaired.

They have had my car since Tuesday I told Fernando if y’all can’t get my brakes back after trying 30-45 minutes to leave it alone. I told them to electronically bleed and manually bleed my brakes. See this is the reason why I don’t like shops because they are always trying to find something else wrong with your car just to get more money. I’m not paying more than the 283.00 that’s it that’s all. I taking my car to ford since they can’t figure it out.

worst place ever to take your car, management sucks bad. You will get ripped off! Took my car there and the manager told me my vehicle had all kinds of stuff wrong with it when it clearly didn't! All I wanted was a quick oil change and it took forever!

On May 22, 2023 my 2014 Ford Focus overheated on I-57 N bound. So I call Preferred automotive, they sent a tow truck to bring me into their repair shop. Long story short. They over charge for parts. And then lied to my face about it. They charged me over a hundred dollars for a part you can buy anywhere for $30 to $40 bucks. And then charged me extra for the gasket. When the part comes with a gasket. Please see photo of receipt. They take advantage of drivers or their customers misfortune. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Stallled far from home. Tow truck driver was fabulous but talked me into using their auto shop to save a few bucks on the tow. Once it was there the communication was awful. Didn’t get a call back at all that evening. Living forty min away needed to make arrangements for transportation to work the next day. Could not get a call back. Next day. Still no call back until after 3pm which they didn’t know much yet. Get a text of the problems with no initial price. So I sign to yes! Fix it. A censor had to be ordered. Finally sunday get a call and still hadn’t been fixed. 5 pm said it was 700.00$. Ug. So what could I do sure. Fix it. Get it home after paying by cash app which I thought so seemed unprofessional. The car just dies again. Doing the exact thing it was when I brought it. Tried calling. No reply. Kept calling. Got jocked back and forth from mechanic to secy. Basically I was sup to pay them to tow it back forty min away to have them fix it right. Wasn’t doing that. But never got a call back to get any kind of refund or apology. Just washed their hands of me because I wasn’t going to pay to tow it back. Did nothing to address anything. Tried to get a refund from cash app. Nothing. So that’s my review. My mechanic looked at the paperwork and said they jacked up the fee 80% instead of a normal 30% for parts and labor. So if you wanna get ripped off go here. I had to pay an additional $350 for parts they didn’t put on and more labor from my people who are always on the up and up. Pays to stick with your own mechanic you trust no matter how much more a tow would have been. Good luck if you go here.Service: Electrical repair

This company claimed that my vehicle' s computer was malfunction and not allowing the parts they put in my vehicle to work properly. They stated it needed to be towed to the dealership and they were attaching the codes. They towed my vehicle to the dealership and we discovered they lied . There wasn't anything wrong with my car's computer. Once the service department replaced the fuel injectors that they claimed they replaced my vehicle was working. Please don't go to these people they are liars, and will only cause more harm to your vehicle and charge you for it. I would give them a negative 5 stars if I could. Do not waste your time or money with these people. Do your homework and research this company for yourself. It was a referral and I made the mistake and didn't do my homework, and paid dearly for it.

Called at 7:36pm today for a tire change, the driver got to me by 7:55pm which was amazing, i was in a bad spot so he towed me off the expressway then finished taking my flat tire off and putting my spare wheel on, thanks a lot!Service: Tire change
