Few years ago I took my 2000 Honda accord v6 with the b7xa automatic transmission to have it rebuilt. Took it in and it was apparent that it was going out. Slipping and hard shifts. Got a call a few days later wanting I think $800 or $900 to start the job and buy the rebuild kit. Car was there for over 2 months. Picked it up and was still the same as it was before. Final bill including the 8 or 900 to start the job was $1950. Only thing that was changed was the exterior shift solenoids. Fluid was still burnt with metallic particles in it. So please definitely get a second opinion or have a reputable shop replace your transmission entirely. Definitely don’t recommend this shop

This guy is a crook, he will take your money and stop responding once you try to ask why he hasn’t finished a transmission that he was given 1 1/2 years ago.

I had my first encounter with this establishment last winter. My heater core went out, Rick undercut or matched the repair cost. His pricing is fair, he goes out of his way to ensure affordability.

BEWARE: This shop is a notch below the worst Service you will ever receive. RICK had my escape since the 3rd week of January 2022 at that time was told 2 weeks. April 1st 2022 I had Marion Police Dept escort us up there after he refuse to give me back my vehicle. He had claimed that he had been working on the transmission for weeks, SOMETHING continually kept “breaking” that was after 6 weeks of my father and myself calling and going by (excessively) Today, April 6th after refusing to take anything but cash- due to his guilty conscious (I could only guess) claiming that I would cancel the check after he told myself and my husband that he “did not want a penny from us” due to his inability to maintain the slightest bit of decency after running us round and round for weeks. Needless to say, you can’t say you haven’t warned!!!!!!Service: Transmission
