My family and I were stranded in Marion, IL, because if a broken down vehicle. We spent 2 nights at this hotel and they went above and beyond for us. They allowed us to check in early and late. We were given the conference room while my family waited for the vehicle. The entire hotel was so clean. The staff was the friendliest I have encountered in any Choice Hotel. The breakfast was fresh and the area was so clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay during our very stressful time!

So after a long drive, it was easy to locate this hotel at NIGHT, mid week, with no issues.
As we come to the door, the attendant at 1045 pm, see us pull up and was at the door to great us.
Then we get ready to get to our room. I stop to ask for blankets and sheets as this is NEVER a norm with "Most," of our Comfort stays. Yep, they were ready, bag in room, extra pillows and blankets, and she saw that we all 3 have long hair and offered a couple more towels.
Come to the room, the fridge is cold!!! Big win for us as we are long haul travelers with fresh fruits and food!!
The room was warm, but it was a very easy fix.
Now to the room. Immaculately clean!!! I own a cleaning business, and I honestly would take a bath here!!! No hair, dust, or grime in the bottom of the tub. ( No, I won't take a bath, just saying, again, that is NOT common with most hotels. Even the corners and baseboards are CLEAN!!!
TO YOUR STAFF, AMAZING JOB!!!!
If they have bonuses and raises coming, let me say, they 100% deserve them.
Marked as a favorite as we travel this way a lot. For sure, I will be back!!
Rooms: Very clean
Safety: Well lit, cameras everywhere and easy check in if already booked. Only wanted an ID!!
Walkability: Looks like this place has a lot of close by walking areas. It was 1030 pm and most stiff closed but could see it all.
Food & drinks: Lots of great places close
Noteworthy details: The staff. 7.18.24 at 1045pm... hands down, she I'd one of the best!!! You better keep her.

Nothing special. Old rooms. Not updated. To high for what the room is worth. Clean. Friendly service. Fair breakfast. High taxes there. Even an extra tax for being in the room. Two nights $56.00 in just tax. Sucks. Won’t do again.

This hotel is a little dated but it has everything you need for a one night stop traveling through town. I booked on the day of and felt the price was a bit high, but I didn’t see anything comparable in the area for cheaper, so I guess it just is what it is. The breakfast was outstanding.

Everyone was friendly. The rooms were super clean. We stayed at 4 different hotels on this trip halfway across the country and this one was by far our favorite. We had a king suite and had plenty of room for our toddler to crawl around and enjoy himself. The free breakfast included oatmeal, pasties, yogurt, fruit, sausage, eggs, biscuits, and gravy. Close to tons of restaurants.

This place is a terrible place to stay the room we had was not clean the food was not that good. The staff was great but the hotel itself needs a whole lot of TLC for the price of this room you could stay over there for cheaper and nicer do not recommend staying at this hotel at this location.
