I don’t know why such bad reviews, but I washed my truck without problems. Good carwash.

Worst car wash I've ever been to. Water smells like rotten eggs. The self wash doesn't work well because it's hard water, suds don't form. Doesn't work when you want to extend the time so you're forced to do a new transaction.

As expected! Scam both automatic and manual wash. Sprayer only does soap and you have to constantly be adding money. Never again

Just moved from Houston. I was looking for a great touch free wash and found "THE SPOT" to go to in town. Both self serve and touch free automatic at 1 location. Don't see these concepts in Texas.

I can say I was skeptical but there’s no need to be. I tried it and loved the location of the wash and the service. Will be a returning customer & I can assure if you try it you’ll be coming back too!

My girlfriend was in the area for work. She decided to get her car washed and she was highly impressed she hasn’t washed her car in over a year and the wash and wax from the Carwash bright it back to life. I highly recommend anyone in the area to check this place out

This place is a total scam. The contact person that you’re supposed to contact isn’t even in charge of that property or so he says. My thought is is that he’s actually the owner on it and he just doesn’t wanna deal with the customers and take your money. That’s all it is. From the three dollar wash sign that’s actually a five dollar wash, to the change machine that doesn’t give you the full amount. Also the automatic wash only sprays soap on it and doesn’t do anything else. To the no phone calls back when called about service or getting your money back. The regional manager can’t get a hold of the property manager on Grant highway. So the maintenance guy from Rockford is the go-between. How about both of those guys call the owner of the Marengo car wash and they get the property fixed? Wouldn’t that be a better idea? or just put it out a service. Because if they don’t do something like that, then the whole thing is just a scam to take your money one quarter at a time. Save your quarters, and go somewhere else. You’d be better off using your garden hose with well water and your back turned to your vehicle then going to this place.

When the car wash in Marengo changed to the Wow car wash, I was happy that there would be a good car wash in town that wouldn't be broke down regularly like another location in town. The first time I tried the WOW wash was when they just started advertising that it was new. I used the highest cost wash in the automatic wash bay, and the result was water spots everywhere. While very disappointed, I couldn't find a phone number at the wash or online to contact them to let them know the spot free rinse wasn't working. I figured it was a small glitch that would work itself out with a little time. I waited for around a month and decided to give it another chance. The result was the same. I decided not to use the wash again. However, this last week, my car had salt spray on it, the other wash in town was closed or broke down again, and I decided water spots would be better than salt spray. I gave the WOW wash a third chance. The results in the automatic wash did leave me saying WOW, but not in a good way. Admittedly, this time, I only paid for the $8 wash this time since the other times there was no spot free rinse with the more costly option anyway, and I really just wanted the salt rinsed off. The results were that the salt spray is still all down the side of my car, and the back window has a crazy amount of salt on it. I added photos with this review. The black colored photo with salt spray all over it is of the rear window. It is easy to see salt spray all over it. I can hardly believe how much salt is still on the car for an automatic wash. The results are no better and maybe worse than if I had just rinsed it off with a low-pressure garden hose. I rated this car wash with a 3 because it appears they have tried hard to give the wash a little face lift and make it look nicer but so far the results are disappointing. I keep hoping for a better outcome but three chances with little improvement seems fair. I will say that where the salt spray did rinse off there are no water spots this last time but thats not much of a consolation with allbthe salt being present. I just wish the equipment was better quality to do a good job or that the other wash in town wasnt broke down or closed so often. ?

went to the automatic wash, never turned on:/ kept waiting there for 5 minutes and the light wouldn’t turn red to stop no matter how many times I tried. I called the service number only for it not to exist? Could’ve used my little 8$ elsewhere. Just an inconvenience
