This establishment is great! Everyone is so friendly and attentive! Always answering any questions willingly. Trainers Mckenzy and Carlos are awesome and guiding our puppy Roxy to her full potential! Highly recommend for training.

Spectacular teamwork between the Trainers. I had a private session with Quinn & my Trainer, Eric Baldazo. We were having some trouble thinking of a way to get Quinn to respond to a specific task, but nothing was working. Mckenzy Price is another Trainer at My BodyGuard Dogs. She was busy doing something, but she saw Quinn and I were struggling, and I was getting really frustrated.Mckenzy stopped what she was doing and came over to help out. First, she calmed me down because your dog picks up on your feelings, so Quinn was getting very anxious. Mckenzy had me go through the specific task so she could evaluate what was going on. Right away, Mckenzy identified the problem. She had me make a few adjustments, and Quinn responded! You and your dog also have to work as a team.Saturday was Intermediate Obedience class graduation.We had to pass the CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test, too. Because of Mckenzy's help, Quinn passed the test. We were given our AKC, CGC Blue Ribbon & Certificate!If Mckenzy didn't jump in and offer her help & advice, Quinn and I had a good chance of not passing his test. I immediately signed Quinn up for the next class in the progression of his training.Mckenzy is the Trainer for that class! It's a very challenging class because we won't be working at My BodyGuard Dogs. The class is held at a Cabela's where there's a lot of people & many distractions. I know Mckenzy will work us hard, but I also know she'll be there to help us succeed. The teamwork that the Trainer's displayed is part of why My BodyGuard Dogs is so successful! Thank you Mckenzy!!

We got our girl from my body guard dogs last June. She has been the best dog we have ever owned. She is so smart, obedient, and has the sweetest disposition. She is an amazing addition to our family. Julie and the trainers are so knowledgeable and produce amazing dogs! I would absolutely recommend them.

I can't say enough great things about My Bodyguard Dogs. My puppy Rhodesian Ridgeback was enrolled in one of their weekly classes that Eric Baldazo taught. I chose My Bodyguard Dogs for Quinn's training because they make everything fun with positive verbal rewards & high reward treats. The training was big on developing trust and positive methods, no yelling, but very upbeat commands & praise!I had to have surgery and needed a place for Quinn to stay. Eric talked to me about their Board & Train program. Eric would remain working with him daily practicing the skills he already learned, then adding new skills. Eric worked with him 4-5 hours daily that included training, socializing and fun play time! The trainers keep in contact with their owners daily. I was sent daily progress reports, videos and plenty of pictures showing me how much fun Quinn was having!The trainers really care and work very hard and they treat every dog as if they are best friends. They helpeach other and spend as much time as necessary to overcome any issues that may arise. Anyone there is superapproachable & willing to talk to you about any concerns you may have. Eric & the other trainers made sure if I couldn't get Quinn to do something, I could set up a private session. Usually I was the one making the mistakes!Julie, one of the owners, is the glue that holds everything together. She too is super positive & wears many hats to make sure the team works together. I can't figure out how she remembers all the dogs and owners names? Julie is very busy but will always find the time to talk to you. She watches each dog and always praises the hard work that the trainers are teaching & for us putting in practicing before our next session.Once you're enrolled in a program, you feel like you're part of the My Bodyguard family. I can't wait to see what's next for Quinn!

You simply can’t say enough about My Bodyguard Dogs. We have had our Rhodesian Ridgeback through a couple classes and finishing another Wednesday. We have also taken advantage of private sessions with trainers throughout our time there. From Julie, the owner and instructor for our first class, to Eric our instructor in our next two classes, to McKenzy our instructor for an extra one we are finishing and next class the most important thing remains the same across the board. That one thing is they care for your dog. They want to help find a way that works for you to train them and are there for you every step of the way.You wont find a better group of people to help train your dog as well as care for it and the facility is top notch from A-Z. Get out there, get your dog enrolled and have some fun with them!!

Bural "B" is a solid built BEAUTIFUL ALL BLACK German Shepard 8 month old that we purchased from owner Julie - My Body Guard Dogs. We are thrilled to have her in our home. If you are or were "little" toy dog owner like us, you won't regret getting a "circus bear" for your next pet~! In the past my husband and I have owned 2 different sets of Papillons, they were wonderful & will always have a special place in our hearts.This time we went BIG & BOLD with Burla "B". It was an extreme bold move for us. What made our decision for us, was having a pre- trained dog of 65 lb & still growing was the best transition for us to SUPER SIZE OUR PET!! In fact she is more than a family pet she has the capability of being a proper & powerful Body Guard dog, with the correct training & our own dedication to this specific sports training.Burla "B" is so brilliant we can shift to Agility training if we wanted. Schutzhund protection work is serious and I think a lot of families feel more protected with a well trained dog. It's a long term commitment. There are fantastic online training for Schutzhound training that I highly recommend as a new owner, the trainer needs to be trained 1st. Clear communication with your dog is essential and worth the effort!We never heard of Schutzhund training before and it is wonderful that My Body Guard Dogs provides all types of sports training from Agility -Dock Diving - Schutzhund - Tricks!!Mckenzy did all the hard work of foundation skills. Knowing how difficult it was with toy breed, it's a bigger challenge with a bigger dog. From a very young age there has to be routine & training, if your are not familiar with the "know hows" you could have big problems later. Mckenzy is a highly skilled dog trainer! Her support team & staff are all important. Mckenzy was the assigned trainer that raised the dog I now have. I am very grateful. I know she even took her home with her to get her acclimated to traveling and not having her entire puppy life in a kennel. Mama Mckenzy did right!Mckenzy amazed us with how easy it was to walk Burla on a leash - no pulling!! Crate trained & comfortable. We have had her for one month and she has not woken us up to take her out to potty. Our previous dogs, definitely had us trained for mid morning potty. Burla sleeps through the night, no restlessness. Burla is also a serious and stealth ball catcher. She is very driven and very athletic. Which is needed for Schutzhounding!!The other advantage even though we are two ours away, we feel confident we can board Berla where she grew up and request a few days of training or play time with Mckenzy. When a did my first Schutzhund session, Burla recognized and was excited to see Mckenzy again. Seeing Burla happy to see Mckenzy & staff made me very happy knowing she was well cared for and had a great start.The best decision we made was to purchase a little older pup with foundation skills with crate trained, housebroken & accustomed to traveling in the car with a harness in the backseat, she is also travels well in a kennel in the car.Burla is our BIG BEAR that gives us BIG HUGS!! Thank you Julie, Mckenzy & Megan and even the salon lady who washed & fluffed her up for send off to her new home. We feel safer and enjoy her BIG LOVE with her deep bark that we have to learn to command her to do!! Crazy how different she is in the BEST WAY !!

5 STARS does not do this place justice! They are extraordinary! Where do I even begin when explaining my experience with My Body Guards Dogs… Everything in my life has changed for the best! I went to visit the facility to meet Julie and inquire about my needs and, to be totally honest, my family and myself had no initial desire to have a family dog. I felt this overwhelming sense of clarity and God given signs this was completely meant to be. I met Julie and Crystal this visit and also met the puppy’s mom and dad, Cordula and Torres. They were beautiful and loving and intuitive! My eyes were opened to how wonderful German Shepherds were and how they were the answer to my prayers. My puppy Celine was born in October. Before she was born, the staff kept us always informed about the puppies and mom’s health. I could truly feel how much they loved and cared for their dogs like family and had fun with them! Julie had explained that these puppies are truly selected for their families based off our needs and their personalities and the staff were completely right!! Crystal has been absolutely a savior and like family to me also while training Celine before we pick her up to take her home! Taking pictures and videos of her training and loving life… she’s a puppy whisperer!!! I look forward to keeping her and the staff at My Body Guard Dogs alway in our lives moving forward because of the trust and care!

We recently purchased a puppy from My Body Guard Dogs. Their puppies go home at 8 weeks of age. We live in Atlanta and weren't able to pick up our puppy (Riley) until she was 9 weeks old. The kennel kept her for that extra week and began some basic training. Her primary trainer was Crystal and we can't say enough great things about her! During that week, Crystal worked with Riley on basic commands, potty training and crate training. She even took Riley home with her every night! When we picked Riley up, we had a two day trip back home. Riley was a "poster dog" for a good traveler! She rode in her kennel and didn't whine at all. We stopped every two hours and she "pottied" and ate her lunch and dinner. Then it was back in her kennel and again, no whining at all! That first night in a hotel and every other night since we got home, Riley has slept from 10 pm to 6 am in her kennel with no whining and no accidents! We are still amazed at all of the basic things that Crystal taught Riley!We are also indebted to the kennel's owner, Julie, for selecting the right puppy for us. We had several phone conversations with Julie so she could understand our current lifestyle. We are both in our 70's, retired, and Riley is our 3rd Shepherd. We needed a laid-back, calm dog and Riley meets those criteria. We have never had a dog that was temperament-tested but Julie used Riley's results to recommend her as the dog for us. We are over the moon in love with Riley and her smooth transition into our hearts and lives are directly linked to the love, care and training she received from My Body Guard Dogs, especially Crystal, from the time she was born until we picked her up!''

We are extremely happy with our experience with My Body Guard Dogs. After some research we found this to be the best place to get a German Shepheard as well as dog training. Julie is very knowledgeable and dedicated. Her entire staff has been helpful, friendly, and open to answering a LOT of our questions. We wanted to be sure in our decision to get a dog, as well as do our best for him once we got him home. Not only did we get plenty of information and resources, but we also left with all the new pet owner essentials including a crate, leash, training collar, food, vitamins, and bowls. Julie has been available to give us advice via the phone as needed. We have already attended multiple 1:1 and group training sessions at My Body Guard Dogs and will definitely continue.I am happy to answer any questions from a customer’s perspective. If you have any doubts call and ask for Metro’s dad’s phone number. I have given them permission to give out my number as I am that happy with my experience. Our expectations were met and then some! Metro is the perfect dog for us and our family situation. We feel very lucky to have found My Body Guard Dogs!

We have a one year old German Shepherd with a good amount of drive. Even though my wife and I are pretty good with dog training, we knew we needed help with our first pure bred GSD. We could tell he was eager to please and wanted to do more, but we needed guidance on how to move forward.We decided to do the 2 week boarding training to get him off to a good start. Since then we have done several one on one training sessions with Julie.Julie has been just amazing to work with and an invaluable partner in the ongoing training of our dog. Every session I learn so much and our 4 legged family member keeps making great progress.I highly recommend My Body Guard Dogs for all of your training needs!!

We recently purchased a female German Shepard from Julie. She was trained by Jo who obviously did a fantastic job. She is wonderful around our 15 month old and has a sweet demeanor. This was our first interaction with Julie and her facility and we were highly impressed. Her staff was nice and her trainer was knowledgeable and communicative. The facility was clean and organized. We would highly recommend My Body Guard Dogs to anyone in the market for a new dog or in need of training.

My wife and I have only experienced good things with this organization. I am looking at some lower star reviews and they just don't add up for us. We began to look for dogs all over the US and Europe for my wife. My wife was walking one day when a homeless man was following a little too close for her liking and fortunately a neighbor came out and the man went the other way. We knew we did not want a puppy and were looking for an adult trained dog. I them had an opportunity to get out of California and move back the Midwest. In my google searches popped up My Body Guard Dogs. I called and spoke to the owner Ms. Julie. I explained the situation and she said she had two mama females that might do the trick. I took the drive from my new job to her facility. When I drove in, I immediately recognized this facility was someone taking seriously what they do. I entered the training room and there around the facility floor were about 9 dogs all laying on raised beds. Not a bark or nothing when I walked in. I watched them work with some of the dogs and then Julie came over and introduced herself. I then met Fenia a 3 1/2-year-old female German Shepherd. Very friendly and very obedient. I spent time with the dog and Julie. I then was allowed to take Fenia outside with one the handlers and we tossed toys outside. I wanted this dog for our next pet. I explained again to Julie I was staying in a hotel, looking for a home and my wife was still in California. Julie said not an issue. She would hold Fenia for us. She did. When my wife arrived from California, we went to visit Fenia and my wife fell in love with her. A couple weeks later we picked up Fenia. I asked Julie about a second dog. I mentioned the other dog she had shown me. Julie could have easily just said yes and made money and moved on. Julie said, let's find you a male. Give me some time and we will find something for you. Sure enough, she is now working with a 5-month-old male that we hope to pick up in the next week or two. Julie has sent trainers to the house to help my wife work with Fenia on stairs. Julie has checked in all days of the week including Sundays to see if we need anything. She realized she had forgotten grooming brushes for us and sent them with the trainer. The trainers Crystal and Megan have been fantastic. Birdie has kept us updated with videos and pictures of our dogs in training. You can't ask for more from an organization. Nobody is perfect and never will be. These people go out of their way to make sure you are treated well, and the dogs are taken care of. Don't hesitate at all to reach out to them and ask anything you want. They take the time and explain everything well in the process. We had a small bump on pickup day as they got busy, but the follow up was outstanding. I would rather have a bump and see how they recover, than to have everything go smooth and then be forgotten about. My wife and I do not recommend places normally. However, Julie and the My Body Guard Dogs team have earned the right to be on the top of our list. Don't run from them! Run to them! You can't go wrong!

This is the place to go for your dog(s)! We have a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who has some reactivity issues and Randi and the staff at MyBodyGuard have helped him so much! We couldn’t be happier with the changes we have seen! I love the feeling of truly being taken care of and that’s what I get here. I felt heard when expressing what was going on and the communication was great throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend!
