WARNING- DO NOT USE!!!!! We hired Kevin and his crew to come out and install carpet throughout our new home in June of 2021. We had a few issues between holes in seams and very visible seams in doorways. Along with his crew putting down a very tacky tan cove base when the rest of our trim in the basement was black. It made zero sense to go with the color. Fast forward to February, 2022 and we had our sump pump fail and flood our basement. SERVPRO came out and did restoration work and was able to save the carpet down there and removed the padding. We got back in touch with Kevin to give us a quote on replacing the pad and restretching the carpet. He came back with 2 quotes. One with just the pad and one with new carpet and the pad which was cheaper. We also noticed that his square footage of the carpet was 230 square feet MORE than what our appraiser, Home Depot and SERVEPRO measured. So my wife emailed him back with 2 questions, 1) why is it cheaper to have carpet and padding installed instead of just padding? 2) why is your sq ft so far off then everyone else’s? We never heard from him till about 2 weeks later after we tried calling and left several VM’s, text messages, and emails. We had to use a different phone number to get him on the line since he was screening calls. His response? COMPLETELY defensive! Didn’t even want to have a conversation about our concerns and told us we needed to find a different company. Our assumption is he used that sq footage on our initial install last summer and in that case, overcharged $547.40 on the basement alone. I’d hate to see the numbers he fudged on the rest of the house. It’s astonishing that there are people out there like this that scam people on the daily. When he wasn’t responding to us reaching out I told my wife there’s 2 reasons. Either he’s embarrassed that his square footage numbers were so far off and he’d have to give us a refund or he KNOWS he’s been caught lying and trying to sweep it under the rug. Either way, He’s a con artist in our opinion. STAY VERY FAR AWAY!

We found this company out of the blue. Kevin was extremely thorough and realistic with his descriptions and suggestions. The prices have been fair (as in appropriate.) The company found problems beyond what was quoted/expected and did not use that as an opportunity to extract money from a customer. We are confident that we’ll be using them for two more bathroom remodel jobs, and would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends or family.

I just want to say that Kevin and John were fabulous to work with. They were very professional and neat. They showed up on the day that they said they would and worked quickly to finish my bathroom. We had a new floor and granite counter top put in. Keven was the brains behind what we picked out in color and tile. We would not have been able to do it without him. I can not say enough positive things about the men that worked on our bathroom. We love the finished product. I highly recommend them for any job that you might need. We just completed having our sunroom tile floor and in floor heating system replaced due to age and some tile/grout failures. California Flooring out of Manteno ripped out the old floor all the way down to the subfloor, and installed the Schluter/Ditra underlayment system with their electric floor heating system and porcelain tile. Gail and I could not be more pleased with the outcome and the professional install and service of the entire California Flooring team. Thank you!

Can't say enough good things about how California Flooring handled my wood floor refinishing project! It was a huge project, almost the entire first floor. They were always on time for appointments and completed the job as scheduled. My floors look better than when new!
