Got a gel manicure from Thu. She was very professional and efficient, and my nails came out looking great. I have weak nails that crack and peel easily. She understood my situation and easily agreed to keep my nails short without trying to upsell me on acrylics or other services.
The salon was clean and peaceful (although I was there early in the morning… perhaps it gets busier later the day).

Excellent Nail Salon.
Cleanliness: True Love Nails is a clean, organized, and well maintained salon. It also is designed beautifully. Salon is clean, comfortable and elegant.
Stylist: Thu pays great attention to her clients. She meticulously provides the dip services. She does minimal nail filing to protect the natural nail bed. Nails are finished perfectly.

I have never been to a nail salon you can't walk in to. This is it....appointment only and the man Jon who works at desk is one of the most rude people I've seen in the service industry. A friend had a spot at 2 mine was 3 we wanted to switch they wouldnt . I'm getting my fill today and will not return to this place. It's too bad because Hannah and tu are amazing!

I went here for my Mother’s Day gift to myself and was treated terribly. I asked for a light purple dip with chrome & tips. For all of this it was going to cost $105. I declined the tips and just asked for the dip and chrome. Which was $80. I accepted and moved forward. What I didn’t realize I was going to be treated so terribly & my nails were going to look terrible. One of the nails she filed down and it has scratches and instead of fixing it or anything she just left it the way it is. Multiple other nails are extremely bumpy. Not to mention the back of my fingers. I’m pretty sure my 6 year old could’ve done better work. I am extremely unhappy and will never be back.
-a note to add, after I left unhappy I called around to a couple other nail salons and they would’ve charged $55 for this. And I’m sure would’ve done much better quality of work. I would’ve been ok with paying that if my nails would’ve looked good, but they don’t.

I should have listened to reviews I read. They add services you aren't asking for and charge you after and you are not told upfront it costs extra. $40 to remove dip polish. Completely ridiculous! They said because they did a manicure - that I never asked for and I would definitely not consider what was done a manicure. Won't ever go back.

Will never repeat this mistake. Quoted $45.00 for a service and charged $75.00. This happened one other time and I thought a mistake was made however realized that was not the case. If you are not a regular you are a target!!! Proceed with caution.

I transported a family to a medical appointment in Mahomet. Across the street from the doctor’s office is the nail salon. When I picked up the family, the 70 something year old black woman stated she went to the nail salon and they acted like they didn’t want to serve her so she left. She was just trying to get her nails done while her husband was at the doctor. This bothered her so we talked about it most of the way home. I called the business to express disappointment at how she was treated. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager asked me to speak slower then became angry shouting “I am not racist, I have a black husband”. She lied saying the woman never came in the shop then hung up on me before I could finish what I was saying. True love nails should change their name to truly nasty nails. Their behavior is unacceptable period!!!

Easy to get into, nice staff, great work. I got a dip manicure and am very pleased with it. Will definitely return.

A guy told me a regular SET would be $47. Went in weeks later and the lady told me $60 for a regular FILL. I will not step foot in the place ever again. Found a place that is $23 for a regular fill. This place is a joke.

overpriced. got the same set done at another location in the same town for half the price. the quality wasn’t even worth the extra money because my nails started peeling off after only a week.

Recently moved to Illinois from another state. Had been going to different salons but my nails didn't turn out as well as I am used to. I choose DIP for my nails and have for years. When I say Esther did an AMAZING job and really took her time, it's true! I paid a little more here than elsewhere but I'm a week in and still extremely happy with her work. Will definitely be returning here. Sorry I suck at taking hand pics. Lol.
