I’ve been utilizing All About Animals Pet Clinic for nearly two years for both frequent boarding as well as routine vet care and grooming for my dog and could not be happier. They’ve been overly accommodating my ever changing schedule and have always done it with a positive interaction. The entire team is wonderful but Tammy, Karlie, Alex, Irene and Michael (Cooper’s favorite) have gone above and beyond every single time.

Everything wrong with healthcare. And America in general. Employees blinded by capitalist greed drain the middle class further by predating on their concern for their pets. Please chapter one. Make space for professionals who care.

We took our cat in as she was experiencing urinary symptoms still after getting exams done at 2 other vets with no improvement. Dr. Gantzer was wonderful from the first encounter. She listened to her symptoms and understood all the interventions we had already tried (we have had multiple cats with cystitis so this wasn't new territory to us), and within 5 minutes of starting her workup, found the issue. Sylvie had a large stone in her bladder that had not dissolved with her prescription diet. Unfortunately, this was going to require surgery (cystotomy), which we also scheduled with Dr. Gantzer. The surgery and follow-up went so well, and 3 weeks post-op, our girl is thriving. She's not constantly having to run to the litter box anymore, and you can tell she feels so much better. All the vet tech staff were great with her and with us as well, and made sure all my dumb questions were answered. Like others have mentioned, the prices are not cheap, but having gone to multiple vets who didn't find or diagnose her issue, I was more than happy to pay more for a team that was competent. Her issues under control after 8 months and for that I'm so grateful. Will bring all our babies back here as long as we are in the Champaign area.

We have been taking our dog, Taylor, to AAAPC since she was a puppy. I know she was in good hands when Caleb came outside to get her and got on the ground with me to get her out of her crate. He carried her in lovingly.
Their veterinary services are excellent in every way. We’ve never had any problems .
Irene grooms Taylor and welcomes her for her appointments.
We have utilized Boarding, as well. First for a few day boards, then a week long boarding. For over a year she day boarded 2 days a week while I was at work. Michael would meet her with a smile. He is a kind, compassionate and nurturing caregiver.
Tammy, Karlie, Alex, Ava, Karsyn, and Emma are all amazing caregivers. Each are professional and encouraging. They feel like family to us.
I’ve also boarded her for 2 and 3 weeks during the past year when I had overseas travel. They relieve any concerns I would have because of the care provided.
Taylor loves AAAPC. Her tail ways fearlessly when she sees the red barn.

My dogs and I have been clients of All About Animals since 2018. I have a 14 year old yorkie, and I briefly rescued a little old maltese (who has since passed). I have extremely high standards for vet care - and I have been delighted with all aspects of All About Animals during our time here.
The medical care is exceptional. Dr Koss and members of her medical team always take time to answer all of my questions in detail and listen to my concerns. They have top of the line medical facilities (including an on site lab which they use when they need immediate results). They are knowledgable and most importantly - the well-being of their patients (the animals!) is their priority.
The customer care team, including Tammy, Alex, and Karlie are responsive, helpful, and kind. They are deeply connected to each other as well as to their clients. If they don't have an answer, they know how to get it. They keep me informed of appointments, required vaccines and check ups, and any other scheduling and logistical needs I have.
Irene, the groomer, is outstanding. She loves her clients! (I've watched her greet many a dog - big and small - during check in for grooming and I am telling you there isn't a dog she can't connect with). She listens to the owners to ensure she is meeting their needs - and always first focuses on the comfort and needs of the dog.
The boarding facility and team are a huge bonus to this vet practice! The facility is newly renovated, clean, and safe for dogs (I have toured it). I don't leave my dog for day-care, but my understanding is the reputation for that is great too. The team of Companion Caretakers (Michael, Karsyn, Emma, Marcie, Elena, Ava.... and others!) LOVE animals and work to care for them as though they are their own. If you board, the dogs get five walks a day (that's basic care!) and there are a variety of options for your dog if your dog has other needs. Like many other vet practices, they have certain requirements for dogs that stay with them - this is for the safety of the dogs who are there as well as for their staff. As someone with a small dog, I deeply appreciate that they work to ensure dogs do not come into contact with each other (outside of their cabins) when boarding and they get individual walks. Even at check in in the medical center, they ensure that animals are quickly escorted into rooms so that there are not skirmishes.
Dr Koss is a professional in every sense of the word. She has also managed to help create a culture among her employees of engagement and satisfaction at work. It's important to her that her team works effectively together because they have to collaborate to meet the needs of their clients - humans and animals. I feel listened to as a concerned pet owner, and I know that the health and well being of my pet is their primary concern.
If you would like a full service vet practice with people who love what they do, care deeply for animals and their owners, and will help your pet live its best left, All About Animals is the choice for you.

All About Animals is the most popular place my girl Elly loves to go. We absolutely feel like family from the moment you open the door. The staff is so receptive and friendly! Dr. Koss is exceptional. She is completely dedicated to her profession. I've recently worked with Dr. Gantzer and find her to also being dedicated and knowledgeable. The last thing I want to say is Irene loves her profession and treats fur babies like her own. We will never go anywhere else ?

I have 2 cats that were patients for 3 years. I have only positive things to say about all about animals! Staff is very friendly, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I have never had a bad experience here, they go above and beyond to care for your animal and they treat your pets like they are theirs! #1 vet in C-U area.

Max is our rescue of 6 years. He has been boarded before at AAA, but for no longer than 10 days. We recently took a trip to Alaska and Max was boarded for 19 days. I was worried about leaving him for so long, but Max ALWAYS gets the best care while there!! Michael, Emma & Elena are so good with him. They make sure he eats his food, and gives him all the loves!! His birthday was while he was boarded there, I had included a birthday bandana and they put it on him and gave him some special birthday cookies from the staff.!! I know Max gets the BEST care while boarding there, staff is amazing!!

My husband and I have 5 dogs, so as you can imagine, we are at AAA a lot and have had many opportunities to use all of their services. I can't think of a single issue we have had concerns about w/any of our visits. From newly adopted dog visits, to wellness/illness exams, random issues w/our senior dogs (I could write a whole 10 star review on Dr Koss' care of them alone!), to grooming (they don't come ANY better than Irene!!!), to boarding (Arthur was loved and cared for and it eased my mind so much), to the unfortunate passing of two of our previous dogs. The care, attention to detail, clinical guidance, and compassion have been nothing short of amazing. We love the whole team at AAA and they are almost family! I will be forever grateful for them and all they have done and continue to do for the Streeter dogs ❤️

I’ve been bringing my dogs to All About Animals since I moved to Mahomet 4 years ago. I’m very particular about who takes care of my dogs. Everyone at the clinic is awesome! They are very loving and caring with the animals and even the pet owners. They go above and beyond. I would highly recommend All About Animals to anyone!

Wonderful staff and facility!
Everyone is so friendly and they treat Hopper like family!
Luckily Hopper has only needed routine/preventative care but Dr. Koss and her staff do an amazing job of helping me keep Hopper healthy.
Highly recommend!

As a direct response to my prior review with my personal email, regarding the cancellation.
Still a bit flabbergasted by the length of falsehood and word manipulation used in response to these concerns. But you know what? It’s pointless to get into the weeds of your deliberate misinterpretation. Because the main issue is this:
You can’t, as a practice, agree to do something months in advance, and take a clients money, to just then drop them to the wild so close to the departure date. We trusted you with something very special, and planned a very special trip (with my very limited time I have off from the hospital). You as a practice should have taken more responsibility. And even now you refuse to admit any wrongdoing, which is even more telling of how things are run there. I’m honestly happy that this happened, because the response is very eye opening to me. I’m sure this place is “good when its good”, but buyer beware- there is a chance you will be absolutely dropped when you’ve done everything you were supposed to, and then simultaneously blamed when you’ve been nothing but appropriate throughout the process. I’ve filed my better business bureau complaint and will be sure to warn anyone I can about my experience here. Lastly, you guys are missing out. My dogs are the most loving pups I’ve ever seen and you surely would of had an amazing experience with them.

Cancelled the stay for our 2 giant breed special need puppies SIX DAYS before an international family trip we have been planning for 1 year.
Booked in April for ~2 weeks in June & my wife was very honest about the puppies special needs. They assured us everything will be taken care of & we will be sent the care forms "closer to the stay." They sent the forms 7 days before the booking. After they received the forms we were called by Tammy who admitted to us honestly that "a trial run" should have been done for our puppies. We still thought everything was fine after talking about the puppies more over the phone with Tammy.
The next day the manager called my wife & said the puppies cannot come "non negotiable". When my wife very logically & reasonably asked why is this all happening now 6 days before we leave? The manager couldn't even be honest & tell her that they dropped the ball & should have taken her verbal concerns more seriously when she booked/had a trial run completed. INSTEAD the manager told my wife she "wasn't honest about the puppies needs" (lie) & that she "never told staff her concerns in April" (lie) So NOT ONLY did they completely screw us over, they then had the AUDACITY to call my wife a liar & blame her for everything! Everything seemed fine after talking to Tammy! My wife would have brought the puppies to meet staff if they were still worried! Thankfully the trip was saved because we found rover sitters at the last minute. Completely avoidable situation if they had given my wife the forms in April when she asked for them or told her about the trial run option when she described the puppies special needs (1 puppy is injured & both have anxiety issues/never have been separated/can play rough.) The manager made a snarky jab they are "booked a year in advance" essentially telling my wife they don't care about having our business. Heartless, especially since being booked "a year in advance" is yet another lie. We booked the 2nd stay (6/20/24 before they canceled) for 9/2024. They said there was "plenty of availability" & we were under the impression all was well! MANY alternate options were available other than cancelling 6 days before our trip. The manager was completely remorseless & took no accountability.
All other staff my wife spoke to were pleasant on all occasions. Unfortunately, they clearly just dropped the ball on her concerns/forgetting to offer a trial run. Then the manager called to do the dirty work/ditch us when she thought our puppies were a liability. They aren't-if she had done her job they would have known that or if she had just spoke to my wife for 5 minutes before cancelling. The manager didn't talk to my wife about her care notes as other staff members had. It was just a cruel we are not taking them, lies, & blaming my wife for their mistakes. We booked our 2nd stay oblivious the manager was about to call & cancel our 1st stay! Can't wait to see the lies the manager cooks up in response to this review.
People that recommended AAA were SHOCKED by them cancelling care last minute. Also gas lighting/lying my wife never told anyone about the puppies special needs. I got home from work & she was excited that AAA was willing to take the puppies despite their special needs. 1st review I have written that is not 5 stars
UPDATE Response to AAA lies see photos below due to character limit. It was bad to cancel 6 days before a trip & terrible to take 0 responsibility about cracks in the booking process that caused that unfortunate event. It is worse how you are handling our frustration w/ your decision by lying, blaming, & falsely insinuating our puppies are aggressive/have severe behavior issues-you have never met them! Our puppies do NOT bite, see photo of list responding to your false claims. You left out/lied about MAN

They canceled my boarding just 6 days b4 I was to leave on an international family vacation that had been planned for a year June 26th-July 8th. Near impossible to get replacement pet care within 6 days over the July 4th holiday for an extended period for two giant breed puppies with special needs. I booked an 8x8 stall & I told them numerous verbal concerns (see pic for details) I asked over a few different calls at the time of booking for paperwork about care needs for my concerns & was assured each time that "don't worry we will email you closer to your boarding date." Surprising to me, but I figured well they know one of the puppies is injured/that they are staying in the same stall together due to their anxiety issues/they can play rough. Staff seemed completely unfazed/confident. Claus is 11 months & can't have TPLO surgery until he is 14 months-but both puppies have excellent health insurance & Claus already had a pre op consultation & is perfectly functional & has lived with the injury for several months. If he plays too much with teddy- he limps & I give him a pain pill. Things went RAPIDLY DOWNHILL when the facility sent me the puppy care forms to complete 7 days be4 our departure. My notes were mostly rough play prevention (see pic/character limit). Trying to prevent knee pain. I called the office back later & told them never mind about prevention as I measured their dog beds & they take up so much space there wasn't room for rough play in the stall. Tammy called me 7 days before our stay & she commented that she "wished they had done a trial run." That was the first red flag. She said "we can't have eyes on the puppies 24/7." I was surprised by that comment because I said repeatedly in my notes that I knew it "wasn't an ideal situation" & to "have the staff do the best they can" that I "didn't want to "burden the staff." This all fizzled out to be a non issue as there wasn't space for play. I told Tammy "the absolute worst case situation is he tears the other ccl but that has been a risk since he tore the first one. Our vet told us. We would have both repaired."I also said that teddy pulls on the leash/can take off when he's scared so maybe have a strong staff member walk them. I am 5'6 female 115 lbs & walk BOTH dogs ALONE (I told them this on the phone). I like to give cautious details for staff safety. Service is limited on the boat & I wouldn't be able to get back to them right away so I explained every detail in my notes & listed my mother as an emergency contact. She's a retired MD available 24/7. I booked a two week stay in September 2024. I thought everything was fine after I dispelled Tammy's fears about staff burden the previous day. A few hours after I booked the September stay the manager (I've never talked to be4) called & said they are not accepting the puppies. This woman was disgusting to me. WHY was a person that I have never spoken to b4 about caring for my puppies calling me so confident that they can't provide care? She took 0 responsibility about not sending me the forms to complete/offering a trial run in April. She told me it was MY FAULT the reservation is being canceled because I wasn't honest about the puppies needs and I never brought up those concerns in April. My mouth literally hung open in shock! WHAT? If I was trying to intentionally hide something I would have left the care forms w/ minimal details. I did the OPPOSITE. I told her that I have to write a 1 star review about my experience becuz "this is a nightmare I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy." She said "I would hope you wouldn't do that" & again blamed me. The issue is you are learning about the puppies needs 7 days before their arrival date; which is your fault that staff didn't pass on my verbal concerns at the time of booking! Then she basically told me they didn't need

Great communication, super nice staff, had a great experience all around.
