“We went to go see Santa with our baby. BEST MRS CLAUS AND SANTA EVER! We went on a Saturday afternoon so the line was long. But they take time to make a personal connection with everyone and are so sweet and friendly. The wait was worth it. And it's free because you just take your own photos.”

“Great space for private parties, wedding reception etc. Nice deck area on the Rock river. I'm guessing 200 people capacity, this party was around 100 people. I was DJ for this event, the lighting upgrade looked vibrant.”
“We had our wedding here on 4/22/23 and it was beautiful. We did the wedding and reception both at this location. The Frisellas were absolutely wonderful in answering any and all questions and helped to make our day perfect. I would highly suggest them for a smaller wedding/event. Our headcount was 120 including the wedding party. They also allow you to have whatever food you’d like catered and with insurance you can supply your own alcohol which was unbelievably cost saving. We were able to rehearse the night before and set up slightly as well as have a quick rehearsal dinner with our family there. I truly can’t thank them enough for making such a stressful thing like finding a venue SO easy! We will definitely consider them for future large events! All photos were taken on the property as well. It’s beautiful! I still can’t stop thinking about how wonderful our day was to us and a lot of that is thanks to our venue! Wish I could rate higher!”
“Klehm Arboretum uses Francesco's for their wedding rental events. Both were absolutely amazing to work with! Jocelyn, Michelle, and Lorenzo at Francesco's were all very responsive, quick to help, and made sure all my questions were answered. The process from beginning to end was seamless with them. The staff at Klehm were also very helpful with requests and with availability. The venue was beautiful and it was so fun using the gardens to take our wedding party pictures! They provided a golf cart to easily navigate through the gardens. I would definitely recommend having a wedding, or any large event, at Klehm! They will not disappoint :)”

“I stopped in for Midtown Market on a Saturday. Trinadora we're playing, the vendors were set up, and the place was decked out for the holidays. Great atmosphere. This place is the heart of Midtown.”
“Womans auxiliary meeting with dinner...soup night, about 18 crock pots of home made soup. A table of appetizers and salad, one with crackers and bread, one with desserts and one table of all gluten free. Delicious. Plus i played pull tabs and won.”

“Rooms are clean, staff was friendly. I was there for a month and they made sure I had anything I needed. There is also several places to eat around the hotel. The Hoffman House, Scoreboard, The Tavern on Clark, and Thunder Bay are all within walking distance if the weather permits.”

I didn't expect the cupcakes to look nearly as beautiful as they did, but the Fatt Cat team took the time to add beautiful winter flare to each cupcake. “Went here on a Saturday afternoon after we were informed, there was OTB inside. The bowling alley in itself is very large, and can accommodate large groups for league bowling. Saturday afternoon was open bowling. Slightly crowded. They have a large game room for the kids as well as adults. The snack bar has a wide variety of grill items, snacks, and drinks. Slot machines are also available but very limited. The OTB area was very clean and organized. I counted at least 10 race courses on the monitors that you can bet on. Very automated betting machines, and smoke-free environment.”

“Sorry, did not eat here recently. This has always been a place my family picked for special occasions and celebrations. Everyone of us loved the salad bar. Food has always been good too, but no other place stood out for their salad bar. We are from Wisconsin, there are several dinner clubs closer to us that we also enjoy. Without your exceptional salad bar, we will probably pick other dinner clubs. Wish you the best. Found out when I called for reservations for a birthday celebration next Friday about this change. My friend specifically asked about your salad bar. My family and friends will find another place to celebrate. Weird, but this made me sad. I guess, just thinking about how many celebrations we have had at Hoffman House. Nostalgic moments, knowing that we will probably not be coming in the future. I have ordered food from you for holidays so will probably still do that, salad bar doesn't count for catered food.”
“This place is a lost gem! The owners are hard-working people. Every time I come in the people are friendly and the place is clean. They hosted a car show a couple of years back and I loved buying a drink and hot dog and walking through the cars. Hopefully, they do more stuff like that in the coming years.”

“Full breakfast starts at 0630 but you should wait until 0700 so you are not waiting behind the staff to get their breakfast. Eggs were egg whites not eggs. Coffee offering wasn't bad however the only choice you have for flavor is hazelnut. I have had better breakfast at a motel.”

“Where to start? Just excellent service! The team at The Twisted Tulip is phenomenal. The venue is stunning. It’s clean, organized, beautiful and very easy to set up in, no matter what your event is for. The bridal suite was perfect and they have three very large bathrooms that are sparkling clean. My daughter’s bridal party got ready for the wedding there, and no one felt cramped, and we had a hair stylist and a makeup artist there also. No matter what we needed or requested, Deb and Ashley were “on it”! Just wonderful service and so nice and helpful during the entire process. I would recommend and have been to everyone I know, to use this venue! Just a fantastic experience all the way around! Our wedding guests could not have been more impressed with the venue. That says a lot right there. So, if you are wondering where to hold your event, you need to book The Twisted Tulip!”
